“Sad to hear you will not be doing this property yourselves next year owner using air bb instead Why don’t you match their terms conditions?”
?? Sykes are the best!!- Mr Hill, November 2019
“Very good Clean great location perfect for a couple”- Mr Farnhill, November 2019
“This is a Gem of a property, it is only 5 mins walk to the centre of Padstow, very little traffic goes by, Bathroom and Kitchen has all new fittings and everything works perfectly.”
Highly Recommended!! Only one very small hiccup, which we are sure was just the cleaners error, there was only half a Loo Roll in the Bathroom in total, we could not find any more rolls anywhere. We tried to buy some Rolls next morning, but unfortunately the Spar Shop near by did not have any to sell, or tissues for that matter. We will not go into any further details of this minor problem!!!!- Mr Kendall, October 2019
“The only thing I would say is that parking was a real problem.”
If you came back to the cottage any earlier than late afternoon you didn't have any chance of parking in either of the two car parks covered by the permit.- Ms Crabb, July 2019
“A few low beams and no where to sit outside.”
But a lovely cosy and comfortable cottage with well equipped kitchen. All immaculate.- Mrs Welsh, May 2019
“The cottage was extremely well equipped, cosy and very well maintained.”
Its central location meant that the shops, harbour and other facilities were easy accessible. I would highly recommend Sunrise Cottage as a venue for a Cornish holiday- Ms Ryman, April 2019
“Sunrise cottage is exactly what it says on the tin.”
It is well maintained throughout and well equipped. Importantly, the location of the cottage is spot on!- Mr Jenkins, March 2019
“Owners Response - Cottage was built in 1760 and has been fully refurbished for guests comfort.”
I was unable to detect a musty smell whilst I was at the property, the quality assurance department have visited and confirmed this. Apologies for your difficulty with the fire, the operating instructions for the gas fire have been made more detailed. All the relevant safety checks are in place.- Mrs Fletcher, December 2018
“Beautiful cottage in a lovely location.”- Mrs Corbett, November 2018
“Fantastic location and beautiful cottage.”- Mrs Murray, November 2018
“Beautiful little cottage in an excellent location, a super holiday all round.”- Mr Hulme, August 2018

We had a wonderful holiday at this location the cottage is excellent and in a convenient location for walking into Padstow- Mr Pashley, April 2018
“We had a lovely time in this very nice cottage.”
Would stay again.- Mr Brown, March 2018
The information advertised on the listing in relation to the car parking availability was misleading, it stated there would be a permit for Harbourside Parking Knowing Padstow harbour, I assume this meant Harbourside parking (ie north or south quay), it didn't it meant Railway or Lawn car park, which are a considerable additional distance With a disabled wife with mobility difficulties this was an issue and I believe would constitute misrepresentation in respect of the property description- Dr Homer Forbes, February 2018
Ideal location. Would definitely visit again.- Mr Williams, February 2018
“What did we like - everything.”
What was wrong - nothing, once I remembered to duck my 6'3" head under the 5'10" doorway... Property was immaculately clean, top quality equipment and linen, with excellent WiFi. Cottage was so welcoming to return to after a Cornish walk, as it was really cosy - important when it was 5 degrees outside and blowing 70mph. Sykes customer service was excellent - we were rung back within ten minutes, as promised, with very complete answer to a few administrative queries.- Mr Edwards, December 2017
