“Finches no longer on your books.”- Mr Combellack, October 2021
“Lovely bungalow a few minutes drive from Portreath in a quiet neighbourhood.”
Nice touches such as oven gloves, bin bags, washing up liquid, sponge and tea towels which I hadn’t expected. Photos don’t do the little back yard justice which was a haven with shade if needed during our very hot week. Thank you Sally and Jason for your help too. You were absolutely great.- Mrs Sammels, July 2021
“I know it’s difficult keeping on top with Covid.”
But this the only accommodation that has not has some very basic things as a welcome pack. e.g. small milk small bead a cake some sachets of sugar coffee and a hand full of tea bags. Also there was no salt and pepper If you have had a long journey or arrive late this as would been very nice and welcoming Or to state you will need to bring these items. The accommodation was lovely very clean and in very good position we had a great weeks stay. The Tv has iPlayer, itv hub, which we could not able accesses which was a shame. Kind Regards GARRY I hope you find this constructive and honest. Again we had a great week- Mr Pettit, June 2021

“Being concerned about Covid-19,I was a bit concerned as to how things would be,but I need not have been,Jason the owner had carried out all the necessary requirements with a set of instructions for when we left.”
The cottage was a home from home, very comfortable with a nice outside space, only 5 minutes walk to a terrific local pub and grocery store.Would definitely recommend both for an elderly couple like ourselves,or small family.- Mr James, September 2020

Walking distance to village facilities was walking distance and useful for both holiday trips and family visiting locally. We don't visit Cornwall regularly due to long journey (time wise) but hope to stay again when we do.- Ms Harrison, November 2019

“This holiday home is a real Gem, and the owners have spared no effort to ensure your stay there will meet your every need, a real home from home, the location is very quiet and the village boasts an array of shops including takeaways, grocery, chemist and of course the local village inn, Major shops and supermarkets are only a short 10 minutes drive away at pool, general location was excellent to tour around the southern end of Cornwall with all the major towns and tourist sites only a short drive away.”
My wife and I were impressed with the accommodation and the attention to detail and will certainly be returning again, I would not hesitate to recommend the Finches holiday home, its the perfect start to your holiday, don't miss it.- Mr Curtis, July 2019
