We stayed with three teenagers during a week of stormy weather, and they seemed to get a kick out of: visiting the little low-tide beach with caves at the bottom of Penlee Point; the windswept hike out to Rame Head, and the rather beautiful walk through forest to Kingsand and Cawsand. This little stretch of coast has a micro-climate that makes it nice being out and about whatever the forecasters throw at us, even in February.
