“Absolutely brilliant place to stay”
We stayed there for only 3 nights, should have been more. The cottage is immaculate, everything one could need was there, it has a beautiful aspect and if you like walking, you'r in for a treat. Richard, the owner, lives close at hand and nothing we required was too much trouble for him.A couple of points which I need to mention though, my wife is disabled and can't walk very far, so for a nocturnal visit to the bathroom the 12 steps down & up from the master bedroom was too much, so we had to sleep in the second bedroom with 2 single beds on the same level as the bathroom. You really do need a GPS/Sat' Nav to get about, as all around the cottage are more or less single track roads (I reckon a Range Rover is about as big a vehicle as you can safely get around in) and I would have never found my way there or back from our coastal visits had I not had one.
But these small obstacles, which wont really be a problem for most folk, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a REAL "get away from it all" holiday.
