“Ideally located close to Fistral Beach, lovely apartment, everything great, needs a better more modern televison is only downside.”
“The photograph of the exterior is a bit misleading.”
The exterior needs some updating/painting. Also, the derelict hotel opposite, which does not show in any photograph is an eyesore. The interior of the apartment, however, was lovely.
“Lovely apartment close to Newquay town centre spacious with all the appliances ...”
Lovely apartment close to Newquay town centre spacious with all the appliances you need for a holiday would definitely use again
“Holiday apartment brilliant.”
Close to Fistral beach and about 15 minute walk into Newquay centre. Only thing that would help, hand soap and dishwasher tablets, even if the cleaners left 2 or 3 per stay. Great accessable apartment but starting to look a little tired here and there. However this will not stop us from staying again. Bed comfy, towels in great condition and everything you need in the kitchen. Thank you for a great service and property.
“We had a great holiday and will definitely come back again next year!”
“Brilliant location, beautifully clean apartment (a couple of scruffy bits but nothing to detract from the holiday).”
Would benefit from an instruction on what to do/who to call on hearing fire alarm - reported - apparently caused by high ambient temperatures. Also unable to use storage cage as padlock seized which meant lugging boards to safe storage elsewhere.
“The location was just what we were looking for - very close to the beach.”
It is next to a derelict hotel, which was not mentioned in the marketing (obviously!) but not really an issue. Some of the lights in the kitchen were not working but we we informed in advance by the owner via text - which was helpful. During our stay 3 of the 5 spotlights in the ensuite blew. we called the maintenance company and they told us spare bulbs were available in the apartment but we couldn't find ones that fitted.
“Nice place to stay very comfortable and clean .”
Would happily stay there again. No view, but very cosy.
“Fabulous apartment great location will definitely go again everything you need”
“Apartment was large and spacious.”
However, we had request the superking in the second bedroom and when we arrived it was two singles. A cleaner turned up shortly after we arrived to check something and we spoke to her about the bed. She tried to blame the owner and said they won’t have informed us. We explained that we had followed the booking instructions and had informed them 4 weeks prior to our visit and had confirmation back! She then went away and came back and agreed it was an error on their part - she then sorted the bed. We appreciate mistakes happen however, what was extremely disappointing was that where she had moved the bed the carpet was thick with dust and no atempt was made to clean it up! I know it was towards the end of the season and thing break but there was no net curtain in the second bedroom which meant people walking passed could look straight in, it also meant the derelict hotel across the road was in full sight. The iron was broken, the clothes airer was broken, the net curtains in the master bedroom had rips in and there was no DVD player or DVDs as advertised. There was a TV dumped in a box in the wardrobe in the master bedroom but not one on the cabinet as shown in the pictures. The kitchen was well equiped and clean but the whole apartment needed a really good hoover and dust. The fire alarm to the building kept going off on one of the days due to a fault, we rang the ‘on call’ number to report it as there was no information as to what to do in the situation and got no answer. 3 hours later someone called back but we missd their call as by then we were out. We chose the apartment because of the high rating given by Skyes but I’m afraid we were disappointed. That said had all of the above been in order we would have been happy with it. It is in a good location.
