“Very dog friendly amazing cottage beautiful place friendly locals.”
Superb relaxing holiday everything we needed and wanted had fantastic weather but would have still been happy if it had been bad as facilities were all required for British weather. Thank you
“The accommodation was really lovely.”
Fantastic area with easy access to beach. The kitchen had loads of equipment home from home. Excellent for dogs safe garden and easy to keep them in kitchen when needed. We all want to come back for a welcomed escape Thank you
“A beautiful house , lovely walks and a warm welcome at the five pilchards.”
“Chy Kembro ticks all the boxes for us, we have stayed a few times now.”
The new bathroom/shower in the property is lovely as is the additional wood burner in the dining/kitchen room. The comfort factor and the little extras in Chy Kembro make this property a joy to stay in. We also love the village Porthallow. It gets harder to leave each visit!
“The house had everything you could possibly want every cooking utensil even cookery books, games and books and television in both sitting rooms both with cosy wood burners ,and everything the dogs needed from poo bags, to leads to biscuits which Henry sniffed out !”
The beds were so comfortable. When we arrived there was tea and coffee on the tray with milk in the fridge and even biscuits .We will definitely be going back after such a warm welcome . The village pub is fantastic and the locals really friendly and the food was delicious. It was great to get up in the morning and stroll down to the beach with the dogs. There was a lovely atmosphere in the village despite the beach being devastated the day before after the storm and snow.and they did a fantastic job of getting it back to ship shape. The whole village turned out on the Saturday to clean up the beach. I thought I had been everywhere in Cornwall but had never been here before and now it is my favourite place to visit.
“Chy Kembro is the most comfortable and well equipped property we have stayed in.”
This was our 4th stay and most definitely won't be our last.

Ruggedly picturesque, the unspoilt coastal village of Porthallow once prospered from pilchard fishing and the 'Five Pilchard Inn' nestling beside the shingled cove is a link to the past.
A peaceful backwater, fishing, kayaking, diving and walking the coastal footpath are favourite pastimes or time can be idled away enjoying panoramic views across the wide sweep of Falmouth Bay.
Set well back from the cove but still with views of the sea, Chy Kembro is very special.
Oozing comfort and style the presentation of the interior is fashionably sleek and contemporary.
Boasting an integral designer kitchen/dining room, a beautifully fitted family bathroom, and two tasteful bedrooms on the ground floor, stairs lead up to the master bedroom and a spacious lounge.
Here fully opening tilt-and-turn picture windows add an exceptional aspect to the rooms letting light and air flow in and framing pretty views.
The lounge is a spacious room in which to relax beside the glow of a multi-fuel stove, brown leather settees form a striking contrast to the neutral theme which flows throughout the interior and many an hour will be spent on the comfortable window seat gazing out.
Both double bedrooms boast the comfort of six foot beds which can be divided if necessary.
Enclosed lawned gardens to the front and rear give a choice of settings for quiet relaxation or alfresco meals.
The local village pub is open all year round and you will find a couple of pubs and restaurants and small shop in the nearby village of St Keverne 2 miles away.

Along the coast, to the north, is Gillan Creek and the Helford River, and to the south is the village of Porthoustock, and offshore The Manacles, a great hazard to shipping and a popular diving site for shipwrecks.
