“So pleased with the accommodation and would love to rebook for next year, however, I don't seem to be able to do this.”
Coast watch is home from home and we loved it.

“Lovley house, lovley thought of leaving us a cream tea on arrival.”
Would recommend this property on the Hill.
“Over all the house was ok I unfortunately have a few downsides.”
First of all when opening the living room door we were met with a stained carpet, which made me a bit angry that no explanation was left regarding the stains. ( photos taken ) On going upstairs, we entered the front bedroom which was as requested made up as a double everyone could see that the first mattress was sunken ( photos taken ) which MUST of been seen by the housekeeping when preparing the beds this obviously led to uncomfortable nights sleep. Lastly we decided to have a BBQ on the first evening, on opening the grill we had our last shock the grill was so dirty rest overs from the last BBQ that we had to quickly drive to the next supermarket and buy something to clean the grill properly before we could even start.
“Amazing 2 weeks at Coastwatch.”
A lovely clean and comfortable house with beautiful sea view. The house had all the facilities to feel like home from home and is a short drive to the beach. Also close by for many days out including St Ives and the lost gardens of Heligan
“Coast watch is a beautiful house.”

We had agreat time and could not believe how lovely the place was it was a great surprise when we entered to find the scones and cream thank you for a great time
“The house was spotless and despite the poor weather (it was late November after all), we thoroughly enjoyed the break.”
The accommodation is perfectly situated with two golf courses within walking distance and a pub down the hill that offered truly excellent food. All the facilities in the house were virtually new and the central heating was a blessing. Going back to the situation, the accommodation is perfect for those wishing to walk the North Cornwall coastal path or the great trails through Tehidy Park. An excellent choise and we will return.
Stayed for a week in June. The house was lovely, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The house was very clean and well looked after. It was a ten minute walk into portreath, which was a lovely town. A great place to stay and explore Cornwall.
A short stroll from the sea, a surfy beach and the coastal footpath, Coast Watch is a gorgeous modern home with sea views from the first floor and an enclosed garden.
An excellent venue for a coastal break, it sits in a hill top position in the seaside village of Portreath, located midway between St Ives and St Agnes on Cornwall's dramatic north coast. Portreath is a small yet vibrant resort with a choice of shops, traditional pubs, cafes and restaurants.
You can amble down the hill to the beach with the kids and the dog, swim in the rock pools, book a surf lesson, hunt shore crabs in the harbour at low tide or relax and soak up the laid-back vibe over a cream tea at the beachside cafe.
The beach is safe for bathing, popular among surfers and lifeguard patrolled during the main season.
Ideal for hiking and biking, you can hire a bike and explore the coast to coast mining trail from Portreath to Devoran and walk from the front door along the coastal footpath for soaring cliffs, superb bird life and startling beautiful views.
The 18 hole parkland golf course at Tehidy Park Golf Club is within a ten minute drive and the must-see seaside resorts of Porthtowan, St Ives, St Agnes are all within a 30 minute drive. Coast Watch offers a light and colour filled home interior.

About the location
Truro 14 miles; St Ives 15 miles.
With its sheltered harbour, beautiful Portreath was, in the 1800s, a hive of activity and industry as a major tin-exporting port. Today, the village attracts visitors from around the world with its wild and rugged coastline. High cliffs, secluded coves and sandy, surf-washed beaches typify the area while all around are reminders of the area's rich industrial heritage. Portreath offers a small fishing harbour, shops, a number of pubs, three cafés and a Chinese restaurant, while its safe, sheltered sandy beach is a popular attraction. For a great day out, visit the cathedral city of Truro with its cobbled streets, shopping centre, theatre, museum and great restaurants, just 14 miles away, or travel a few miles along the coast and follow the vast expanse of sandy beach, which leads down to Hayle and on to St Ives. A delightful holiday location.
