“Lovely and cozy, with a perfect location.”
We enjoyed the conservatory very much, the cottage was very warm too. We appreciated the scones, cream and jam at our arrival.

“Our cottage was lovely and only yards from Portreath beach, plenty of eateries nearby and also a Coop.”
The cottage itself was extremely comforatable and, despite it being the middle of February, it di not take long to warm up and become cosy. All your kitchen needs are there and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended and will almost certainly rebook. We are not crowd people and I expect Portreath to be very busy and overfowing with visitors, saying that, Pebble Cottage, makes a good refuge from the hubble bubble. One caveat, it you are very large you may find it difficult to access the shower also if you have difficulty with steep narrow stairs then best avoid this cottage.- Mrs Lake, February 2019
“We reported the fire breaking on the 24th Dec and nothing was done.”
Contacting yourself took forever to get answers also taken forever- Mrs Wilde, December 2018
“This was a lovely cottage very comfortable the toaster did not work but was replaced and the electrics were a bit hit and miss but this is an old cottage and it is to be expected.”
It is situated close to beach shops and local pubs couldn't ask for more- Mrs Ritchie, November 2018
“The cottage was in an excellent location and met our needs.”
There is a first class Chinese restaurant within walking distance and an excellent breakfast could be had at the local cafe next to the shop/post office, where dogs are also allowed in. It was a little 'tight' in places, especially the entry into the shower where I had to be very intimate with the sink before entry and the doorways were low, which meant I had to stoop a little being 6ft which inevitably led to a few bumps.- Ms Lancaster, November 2018
“Great cottage great area great holiday we will be back”- Mrs Pearce, October 2018
“Lovely little cottage, great location and very close to the beach!”
Nice little touch with the wine, biscuits, milk and flowers on arrival. Couple of minor niggles. The washing machine is outside (we only found it after 3 days) and it is also extremely old. The ceilings/doorways downstairs and stairs are very low. Be prepared to hit your head! The parking spot outside is ideally for a small car. Very hard to turn around, unless you reverse quite a way back down the narrow terrace. Also do not turn around in the house 3 doors down as we had a rude note left on our car (we did it once) We would still return to Pebble cottage. A lovely holiday, regular visitors to Portreath.- Ms Ballantyne, August 2018
“Nice little place at the beach.”- Mr Abbink, August 2018
“We had a great time cottage in ideal spot we would like to book it again next year”- Mr Hunt, July 2018
“Excellent location for touring the area.”
Cottage well equipped 2 mins from the beach and 3 cottages from local pup Bassett Arms excellent service and good meals.would certainly visit again.- Mrs Dalby, June 2018
“This was an excellent find.”
..the cottage was quaint, comfy, clean, warm and practically on the beach(100mtrs). Portreath is a lovely friendly village. The chippy is very very good...proper chips The Bassett arms is also very very good...beer lovely and the food was top notch...huge portions. It is also kid and dog friendly The local walks are very good...would recommend the 'hells month' walk...which takes you to 'hells mouth' cafe...good value for money We also tried the surfing...it was amazing...the instructor was very good and spent equal time with everyone Portreath is close to a lot of days out(40 mins drive tops)...would highly recommend St Ives...stunning beach and gorgeous villages with a lot of cool independent shops All in all a fabulous break in a fabulous cottage- Mrs Carnan, March 2018
“Pebble Cottage is a beautiful cosy quaint little cottage ideally situated for the beach.”
Thoughtful touches included fresh flowers a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. Later a delivery of logs and sticks was much appreciated as storm Eleanor hit!- Mr Quarmby, December 2017

About the location
Truro 14 miles; St Ives 15 miles.
With its sheltered harbour, beautiful Portreath was, in the 1800s, a hive of activity and industry as a major tin-exporting port. Today, the village attracts visitors from around the world with its wild and rugged coastline. High cliffs, secluded coves and sandy, surf-washed beaches typify the area while all around are reminders of the area's rich industrial heritage. Portreath offers a small fishing harbour, shops, a number of pubs, three cafés and a Chinese restaurant, while its safe, sheltered sandy beach is a popular attraction. For a great day out, visit the cathedral city of Truro with its cobbled streets, shopping centre, theatre, museum and great restaurants, just 14 miles away, or travel a few miles along the coast and follow the vast expanse of sandy beach, which leads down to Hayle and on to St Ives. A delightful holiday location.
