Located in the historic village of Delabole, a short distance from the coast near Tintagel, this old terrace cottage offers guests a memorable holiday experience all-year-round. Enter the cottage through the porch where you will be welcomed by a cosy snug, a lovely area to relax and enjoy the warmth from the woodburner; well placed to elevate those cooler nights.
Three steps will take you up to the open-plan living room comprising of a well-equipped kitchen and a breakfast bar where you can rest in the early hours and plan your weekly adventures. With a seating area, and an additional woodburner there is somewhere to unwind at every time of day. For a peaceful night’s sleep, a double and a single bedroom are complete to an excellent standard, joined by a wonderful bathroom to complete the accommodation in a stylish fashion.
From the lounge, you can access the wonderful decked area via French doors, designed with comfortable sofas, perfect for spending some time admiring the open fields or catching the lovely sunsets which grace this magnificent area. A short stroll from the cottage will take you to the famous Bettle and Chisel pub where a warm welcome is always promised. With many walks right from the door and in close distance to the high cliffs and dramatic scenery of the north Cornish coastline, this cottage is a convenient base for touring. Stroll the South West coastal path, visit the high places of nearby Bodmin Moor, or laze on the beach at nearby Trebarwith Strand.

At one time the producer of the world’s best quality building and ornamental slate, this now sleepy village is just 2.5 miles from the high cliffs and dramatic scenery of the north Cornish coastline. Perfectly placed for walking the South West coastal path, exploring the high places of nearby Bodmin Moor, or for lazing on the beach at nearby Trebarwith Strand, it’s a well-placed holiday base. The peaceful harbour village of Port Isaac and the town of Tintagel, with its tourist attractions and King Arthur’s legendary castle, are both a short drive, while the stunning surfing beach at Polzeath is a mere nine miles away. Slaughtersbridge, where King Arthur reputedly fought his last battle, is five minutes away and a drive north along the coast takes in the beautiful cove at Crackington Haven. An area away from the main tourist crowds, but very central to a vast array of places and activities. Delabole Quarry itself is just down the road and is an interesting tourist attraction with stunning views. It is the gateway to great countryside walks.
