“The Loft was a gorgeous location, close to St Ives but also close to the main road to visit other places.”

The parking is right by the property and the Loft itself was fabulous, with everything you could need, plus a little more. Beautifully presented. clean and tidy. The only thing it lacks is outside space for a morning coffee but then it is close to St Ives (10 to 15 minute walk - depending on energy level)

The property

Evocative of the forward thinking design of New York and Manhattan Lofts, an open living concept currently in vogue, this impressive duplex property will never cease to delight.

With the emphasis on space, high vaulted beamed ceilings add airiness to a carefully styled and generously proportioned interior that boasts symmetry and sleekness.

Italian and French up lighters cast gentle pools along boarded and painted walls softly shaded in keeping with the neutral theme.

Wide oak floorboards take your eye along the line of a living room where three large comfy sofas set around a free standing wood burner ooze comfort and glossy white floor cabinets create a sense of flow along the wall of a kitchen area designed for inspired cooks to make the most of their stay by creating wonderful dishes with local produce and fish freshly harvested from the sea. The luxury of space extends into a bathroom with neutral Fired Earth tiles, free standing roll top bath and large walk-in-shower, and two beautifully presented bedrooms one of which boasts a dressing room and the other an en-suite shower room.

Away from the melee of bustling St Ives but just a pleasant ten to fifteen minute stroll to Porthmeor beach and the quaint narrow streets that lead down to its charismatic harbour, you can come and go at leisure.

Set beside the coast road that winds its scenic way to Lands End there is much to explore; beautiful moor and cliff path walks will take you to Gurnards Head and along to Zennor.

There is allocated parking for two cars.

About the location

ST IVES

Penzance 6 miles.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!

Note: no smoking and no pets
