On the ground floor, the sitting room is bright and light and beyond it the modern kitchen is well equipped for keen cooks with a stable door out to a suntrap courtyard garden.
The courtyard backs onto paddocks where various animals are put out to graze.
There are plenty of beaches to discover, the nearest is just a mile away at Porth Nanven Cove; a pretty pebbly picnic spot at the bottom of lush green Cot Valley.
Sandy surf spots are a short drive away at Sennen Cove, its neighbour Gwynver and around the Land's End Peninsula at Porthcurno where you will also find the famous Minack Theatre.
There are fabulous walks from the doorstep so head out seawards to Cape Cornwall or inland to discover ancient mythical standing stones and stunning scenery.
The coast path in the far west of Cornwall is at its most dramatic passing rocky cliff sides, old mine houses and beautiful hidden coves.
Penzance is ten minutes drive away, an historic coastal town where you will find a wide range of shops and restaurants plus some beautiful parks and the impressive prom.
We also recommend the incredible drive east along the coastal road to St Ives where you will discover boutique shops, art galleries galore and many restaurants around the pretty harbour.
There are excellent bus services from St Just so you can leave the car at home and enjoy a hassle free break.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.
