  • “Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location to explore that part of cornwall, lovely coastal walks.”

Cottage was very well equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. Loved the log fire. the bottle of prosecco and biscuits which were left was a lovely welcoming gift, along with the milk and tea bags.... would recommend this cottage.

The property

Found in the spectacular far west of Cornwall in the popular town of St Just, Kevrin Cottage is a delightful and beautifully styled retreat.

This charming end of terrace granite cottage has been given a stylish new interior which provides a relaxing and welcoming ambiance - especially with the wood burner alight!

Kevrin, meaning secret or mystery in Cornish, will exceed all expectations of those who wish to be within walking distance of pubs, shops and cafes and have fabulous coastal walks on the doorstep.

Here you can forget the car as well as the stresses of everyday life so bring your walking boots or simply relax with a good book. The nearest small beach at Cot Valley is a hidden and little known gem at the bottom of a beautiful lush valley making it the perfect picnic spot.

For those who prefer a wide stretch of sand Sennen Cove and Porthcurno are also within easy driving distance.

There are incredible walks on the doorstep to Cape Cornwall or along the rugged south west coast path towards Lands End in the west and Pendeen lighthouse in the east.

We recommend the drive east along the coastal road to St Ives for a day of browsing boutique shops and galleries or sampling fine seafood in one of the many restaurants which line the harbour.

Penzance is just 10 minutes drive with its' Jubilee Pool, Cornwall's much loved art deco lido, and its' reputation as the new food capital of Cornwall. Immaculately presented and carefully planned the super kitchen/dining room forms the hub of Kevrin Cottage - perfect for friends and family to gather.

The cosy sitting room, with lovely wood burning stove, has plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably.

Upstairs is a master double bedroom and a twin which share the shower room.

Relax in the peaceful snug, with distant sea views, or play on the XBox.

Downstairs is a really useful shower and utility area and outside is a sun-trap enclosed courtyard to the rear of the cottage; perfect for evening drinks and sunny breakfasts.

There is space to hang wetsuits and store surfboards in the courtyard.

About the location

Penzance 7.2 miles; St Ives 12.9 miles.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.
