“What a wonderful cottage, overall one of the nicest properties we have stayed at and I would class this as a luxury property.”

Everything in the cottage was brand new and had everything you could need and more, unfortunately in March we couldn't make the most of the outdoor space apart from the tub for a quick dip but again, everything you could need. The hot tub is eco-friendly and does need a good few hours to heat up, personally I prefer a jacuzzi hot tub but in essence, this whole property is looking at the environment and is a lovely addition to the garden. ...

There are a couple of things I would make visitors aware of, the wet rooms (x2) are exactly that, however, the whole of the bathroom floor gets wet so be careful not to leave anything on the floor, regardless of that, the showers were perfect, lots of hot water and powerful. Please look at where the property is situated as you may think it is within walking distance of the amenities in St Just, however they are a bus/car journey away, having said that, we used the local bus service and it was perfect to get around, the A17 bus seemed to go everywhere we needed to go to but if you want to walk to Pendeen for example and are in the mood for a good walk, take the coastal path. There is one local taxi service, St Just taxi's but plan ahead, we booked a restaurant but couldn't get a taxi there so had to cancel the meal. We walked to the Queens Arms pub which is minutes away and had lovely meals on both occasions, we got a Chinese takeaway from St Just which was good if you fancy staying in, otherwise we eat out while we were out and about...we never did find the local shop! This really is a beautiful, well equipped cottage and I would highly recommend Seaglass for your stay, Jasmine and Karl were at hand anytime if you needed them. Thank you for a wonderful stay and a lovely welcome hamper too, Ann-Marie and Allan

About the location

ST JUST

Penzance 7.2 miles; St Ives 12.9 miles.

St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and is situated approximately eight miles west of Penzance. The town itself is an ancient settlement that has a strong mining history and there are several monuments and prehistoric antiquities to visit including the Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. St Just is ideally located for visitors to explore the far west of Cornwall as it is situated on the edge of the moors and close to the beautiful north coast. In the centre of the town is Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times, and in more recent times for the Lafrowda Festival.
