“The house was clean and smelt lovely on arrival.”
Lovely quite setting with a little open garden to the rear. All the cooking facilities you would require whilst on holiday. Tv was a little on the small side though. Beds comfy and the wall heaters in the bedrooms warmed up quickly. As previous people have mentioned the house could do with a fresh coat of paint but on the whole a wonderful weeks stay.

“Cottage was clean very comfortable.”
We came up as mum in law was very ill in hospital and owner went above and and beyond letting us have a late check out so could visit her. Thank you John x The only negative things would be a lack of washing machine as onsite laundrette was a tad expensive and the TV was tiny. My eyes are terrible so had to pull the sofa up to watch it lol. Otherwise an enjoyable stay, holiday Village quiet. Pub not open but it is out of season. Village could do with an onsite shop for basics. Recommended though!- Rachel, March 2022
“Property was pretty clean and pretty much had everything we needed.”
Bed could be a wee bit comfier, but everything worked as it should. Holiday village complex on which this is situated is very nice too.- Simon, October 2021
“24 Pendra Loweth is an unloved, soulless basic and sad cottage.”
It needs major refurbishment. The cost of the rental does NOT match the standard of the property. We will not be booking it again :(- Sarah, September 2021

“We love staying at Pendra Loweth site, have stayed several times in different homes.”
The gardens are beautifully looked after. Its very safe, and quiet. The only thing its lacking is a small shop on site for essentials.- Anna, June 2021
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage, it is comfortable warm and cost, and being dog friendly was the icing on the cake.”
The only problem was the double bed mattress, it was uncomfortable. The site was quiet , the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful.- Susan, October 2020
“We arrived after a 5 hour journey to a dirty property.”
Due to Covid -19 we were expecting a particularly clean property, not one in which we needed to clean ourselves after a long journey, We contacted Sykes who were excellent in responding to our email and phone call, we could not fault their customer service. Our shower head was filthy and broken ( my husband concerned about legionella) a charming lady called Kay arrived the following day and her husband replaced the shower and fixed the curtain rail in the main bedroom. We bought at a local store new pillows and our duvet was ripped at the top which was neglectful! We have taken photos of the frying pan, for example needing to be replaced and the dirt throughout the property! Our friends who have another property on site commented that when we left it was so much cleaner and smelt fresher than on our arrival!- Kate, August 2020
