“Chy Lowen is the perfect holiday accommodation for your stay in Cornwall with either a large family or group of people.”

It has absolutely everything you need for a relaxing stay. We really enjoyed movie nights with the projector and relaxing in the hot tub after a day of walking. The property is spotless and the managers do everything they can to assist you. There are fantastic seaviews from 4 of the bedrooms and a very versatile lower ground floor room for those who might not be able to make the stairs. Location is great, you can either walk into town or get the shuttle bus which stops on the street next to the house. We had a mixture of ages and abilities at the house and there was something for everyone. Would happily book again. Thanks for a great holiday!

The property

Quite simply one of St Ives finest and most luxurious holiday homes set overlooking Porthmeor beach, the Atlantic Ocean and the stunning north Cornwall coast.

Approached along a driveway in a residential area of the town, you experience the wow factor the moment you enter this magnificent home and is a perfect setting for a family or group of friends.

Through the hallway into the extremely spacious living room with the floor to ceiling glass windows where the light floods in, there are amazing views whatever the weather.

With a superb kitchen area, a long table for all to sit around at mealtimes and large cosy sofas to relax and enjoy a film on the drop-down electric screen from the full HD projector with surround sound, this wonderful house has everything.

On the cooler evenings and winter nights enjoy the woodburner whilst enjoying a drink overlooking the bay and the ever-changing sea.

There are five bedrooms, all with TVs, and most with super king-size beds.

Both the master first floor and ground floor bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, whilst there is another bathroom on each of the floors.

On warm balmy evenings open the bi-fold doors and enjoy alfresco dining making use of the barbecue.

St Ives is home to several beaches, including the lush, golden stretch of Porthmeor Beach, St Ives’ most premier beach.

Popular with surfers and water sports enthusiasts alike due to the south-westerly gales it enjoys, this beautiful, Blue Flag destination has lifeguards on duty from Easter to October, is flanked by two, rugged headlands, and boasts magnificent, awe-inspiring views that gaze out upon the brilliant blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

the Tate Gallery and the famous town with all its historic pubs and excellent restaurants all within walking distance, this superb property offers accommodation in a truly stunning location all year round.

The beach is only a short walk away and the fabulous coastal train, one of the most scenic in the country, runs from St Ives railway station, connecting you to the rest of Cornwall.

About the location

ST IVES

Penzance 6 miles.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!
