  • “Cottage was beautiful and very clean the thing we would have liked as two ladies holidaying together is blinds or curtains up downstairs windows.”

And the sitting in the lounge was very uncomfortable. But on a whole the cottage is beautiful

Thank you for your feedback. We’re so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at West View and found our home to be beautiful and very clean. The cottage is very private and not overlooked. It is furnished with blinds in every room with the exception of the kitchen, where we prefer to take advantage of the spectacular views and the garden. It’s disappointing to learn that you found the seating in the lounge uncomfortable. The suite is an expensive mid-Century design classic by Ole Wanscher, a Danish furniture designer, accessorised by a selection of cushions adding an elegant finishing touch. The sofa and chairs are popular for their clean lines and ease of hygienic maintenance. However, we’re sorry it’s not to your taste and are pleased it didn’t spoil the enjoyment of your holiday. Best wishes, The owners. Property Owner

The property

Set in the small hamlet of Tredinnick, near the coast of Cornwall, is this picture perfect detached cottage.

Throughout the home the colours are attractive, welcoming and in a-contemporary-style but with its inglenook fireplace, slate flooring, traditional low beams and large grandfather clock remains very much in keeping with the classic, period cottage-style.

Step into the sitting room where you can enjoy a relaxing evening together as a family and take advantage of the provided DVD player and bring all your favourite film classics to watch (there is also a wide selection of DVD's provided).

The kitchen is the real heart of the home, sleek and stylish, with contemporary fitted units and plenty of worktop space for preparing your meals, whilst the dining area is the perfect spot for those family gatherings over a well-deserved glass of wine.

Once the evening draws to a close, choose from two double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room.

The bedrooms have a range of modern furnishings, which complement the light decor, and offer a cool and stylish space in which to rest.

Relax and have a luxurious soak in the tub with a good book.

Outside you'll find a peaceful, secluded country cottage garden with a patio area and a table and chairs to relax at and enjoy a refreshing drink.

Nearby is the The Camel Trail, a great way to bike or walk and explore the beautiful rolling countryside of Cornwall.

Popular nearby seaside towns such as Padstow, just 5 miles away are a must, the pubs and restaurants offer some of the best seafood in the region - straight off the boat.

Explore the iconic and beautiful area known as 'Seven Bays' with beaches aplenty, including Constantine, Harlyn, Treyarnon and Porthcothan Bay.

Enjoy a fabulous day out before retiring to your quiet sanctuary in this perfect part of Cornwall.
