  • “The car parking space was covered in cat excrement and was too small and too tight to get a family car in, we had to park on the roadside the whole time of the holiday.”

    Access to the property is very difficult via steep stairs. Shared entrance lobby was dirty and smelt damp, the stair carpets were dirty and threadbare. The lock to the apartment was very temperamental and took a l ong time for the key to engage the tumblers. On several occasions we thought that we would be unable to securely lock the door. ...

    Access to the property is very difficult via steep stairs. Shared entrance lobby was dirty and smelt damp, the stair carpets were dirty and threadbare. The lock to the apartment was very temperamental and took a l ong time for the key to engage the tumblers. On several occasions we thought that we would be unable to securely lock the door. Inside the property was no better, with the hall carpet stained and worn out. There was mould and stained grout in both of the showers, the apartment smelt old, was very draughty and very difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature due to the thermostat being in the hall no where near a heat source. The windows didn’t close properly and allowed a constant draught and noise in. The washer drier - which wasn’t even in the listing - was standing uneven and required both of us to hold it in place while the spin cycle was on. The mattress in the main bedroom was lumpy and uncomfortable and requires replacing. On a positive note, the views were amazing and the apartment is well positioned for access to the town.

Newquay town centre, with excellent restaurants, cafes with outstanding views are all close by, whilst in the harbour area there are many other restaurants, shops and bars.

With all facilities close by, you can leave the car behind and explore on foot.
