This cottage enjoys a rural location while being just a short drive away from local amenities as well as all the home comforts you will need to enjoy your Cornish Cottage self-catering holiday, which is ideal for couples or to simply have it and enjoy all by yourself!
Whileaway is nestled between the bustling harbour town of Looe and the little fishing village of Polperro with their quirky streets lined with quaint fisherman’s cottages, both have an abundance of shops, pubs,cafes and tearooms not to mention some of the best restaurants Cornwall has to offer, with their beautiful beaches and stunning little coves just waiting for you to discover and explore!
On arrival at the cottage you will be able to park into your own designated off road car parking space.
Entering the property you will be greeted to a lovely open plan space with a fully-equipped kitchen with dining area, which leads though to the lounge with large picture windows with opening French doors looking out onto stunning countryside views.
The bedroom has a luxurious king-sized bed for you to snuggle down into with an en-suite shower room with all the modern finishing touches.
Outside the views lend the cottage a delightful sense of calm; where you can relax and “whileaway” the hours with a glass of wine after a day of exploring all that Cornwall has to offer, be it walking the coastal path with its stunning coastline which you can pick up at Lansallos which is just 2 miles away with a National Trust car park, or spending a day in the ancient streets of Fowey best know as the home of Daphne du Maurier.
Fowey stands in the Cornwall area of Outstanding Beauty and is situated just a few miles down the road from us via the Bodinick Ferry.
If you fancy a day on the water look no further than Looe Adventure Fit South West where you can go exploring Looe river in a kayak or on a paddle board or if you simply just want to meander around beautiful gardens and historical stately homes such as Pencarrow a gorgeous Georgian House surrounded by a lake and picturesque woodland, Saltram House and gardens, also Antony House where Alice in wonderland was filmed, just a little further afield Trebah Gardens with its lush exotic gardens on the Helford River boasting its own little cove for you to explore.
