“The owners have taken a lot of trouble to present a beautiful Cornish cottage just as it should be.”

They are friendly and very approachable. The cottage is well equipped, cosy, comfortable and warm. It is also situated in a quiet piece of unspoilt Cornwall but within easy reach of amenities. We would highly recommend this cottage to those looking for a holiday base in Cornwall.

The property

Penryn 2.2 miles.

Eldamar Cottage lies on the outskirts of Penryn, a location of architecture and harbour heritage with attractive granite buildings along the cobbled streets down to the sea.

Well-suited for families, this is somewhere special for everyone to come together and relax in comfort amongst the exposed stonework, and heart-warming features.

The ground floor is home to an open-plan living area with the added benefit of a woodburning stove, comfortable seating, and a dining table which seats up to six people.

After a get-together, why not make yourselves right at home in front of the TV, or enjoy the conservatory for some peace and quiet.

A good night's sleep is promised in all of the three bedrooms, a lovely arrangement with ample storage for your belongings, and pleasant views to wake up to.

The accommodation is finished with a country cottage kitchen, and a family bathroom where you can get ready in style, each day that goes by.

This retreat is a tranquil base for visiting coast and countryside, nestled off a narrow lane with distant views over Falmouth Bay on a clear day and Argal Lake for strolls and fishing.

Falmouth lies three miles away, with its wonderful beaches, marina, harbour, shops and a daily ferry to St Mawes.

Alternatively, visit the National Maritime Museum for a taste of Cornwall’s sea-faring history, or the fine Tudor fortress of Pendennis Castle.

A holiday experience not to be missed.
