    “We had a wonderful week staying in Chy Lowena.”

    The cottage itself was so cosy and really felt like a proper home. We spent many nights in front of the fire, after days spent walking along the coastal path and exploring the local area. Our favourite walk was from the house, past Pendeen lighthouse to Portheras cove. The cottage had everything we needed as a family with 2 young children and the beds were very comfy! We hope to return soon. Many thanks for providing such a relaxing stay.

This well-presented property offers a superb opportunity for a family looking to get away from their daily lives and explore West Cornwall.

The interior of the cottage oozes character and charm, promising a delightful stay at any time of the year.

It comes with three well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a king-size double bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom to ensure a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit your group.

Look forward to spending relaxing evenings within the sitting room, where you will find a woodburning stove which fills the room with warmth during those chilly winter evenings.

Beyond here, is the amply equipped kitchen, housing all the necessities to prepare a home-cooked meal before the family gather around the dining table to tuck into your meal and to plan the days ahead.

Spend a moment or two within the rear garden area, where you will be able to enjoy a refreshing drink on the bench seating before heading out for the day.

If you don’t feel like cooking one evening, a short stroll will bring you to a lovely pub and a good fish and chip shop.

To keep you busy whilst staying here, venture to Pendeen Watch where you can enjoy the dramatic coastline or soak up the sun at the sandy Portheras and Boat Coves.

Alternatively, head to the popular resorts of Penzance and the picturesque town of St Ives, where you will find further amenities and attractions.

Chy Lowena is a delightful base for spending time with loved ones.

St Just 2.5 miles; Penzance 7 miles; St Ives 10 miles; Lands End 10 miles.

The charming village of Pendeen is situated on the Penwith Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding natural Beauty, in North West Cornwall. It has a love pub, convenience store, pottery/gallery . There is also a wonderful lighthouse tucked away from the centre of the village, where you can marvel at the most spectacular sea views, stretching for miles. Perfect for exploring this lesser-known area of the county, there are so many fantastic things to see and do; from exploring the rugged coastline to pulling on your walking boots and criss-crossing the beautiful countryside, with public footpaths at every turn! The beaches in this section of Cornwall are fantastic and there are so many coastal villages and attractions that will keep you busy. Enjoy shopping in Penzance, discover hidden gems in St Ives' many harbour-front galleries, or find the perfect trinkets to take home in the novelty shops of Mousehole. The open-air Minack Theatre overlooking the stunning beach at Porthcurno should definitely go on the 'to visit' list, and you can also enjoy visiting the many filming locations of the BBC's, Poldark.
