The hot tub was also clean and hot ready for us to jump straight in.
The lodge itself is positioned near a small lookout mound and a grass area in the park, good for the dogs to have a walk around.
If I was to criticise anything the T.v wasn't working when we arrived, there was no arial connector just a wire shoved in the back of the T.v. We did report it and was offered to fix but we brought a fire stick with us, which we plugged in and that was good enough for us, just reported for the next user's.
Also the decking could do with a clean and a power wash, very green and slippy in places.
Other then that we had no issues with heating, water or wifi, the lodge was warm when we arrived, with a welcome pack of things to do, restaurants and places to visit.
Maybe a small instruction manual on how to use some of the appliances, oven, dishwasher, hot-tub might be helpful for other guests.
Overall we had a really lovely time visiting many places around the area with the dogs and it was nice to come back to the lodge a relax in the hot-tub after a long day walking.
I would recommend this lodge to others and would be more the happy to visit again.
