    “This was a wonderful place to stay, perfect for a revitalising break.”

    Outside was sometimes very chilly, but inside it was warm and cosy. Everything you needed was there, it was amazing to be able to sit and look out of the window at the great expanse of ocean and watch all the different vessels, as well as the sky constantly changing with the weather. My only disappointment was no cream tea on arrival, which I had been looking forward to - but everything else seemed perfect!

Ascend to the elevated position of the property and enter your new home-away-from-home to find a well-stocked kitchen, hosting a fantastic range of appliances ideal for delicious cooking treats for loved ones; kick back and relax on the plush sofas in the living/dining room by the cosy fire, and enjoy some light entertainment on the Smart TV or get lost in a good book, with magnificent views of the Cornish coastline as your backdrop.

When it's time to eat, gather the family around the dining table and raise a glass of champagne to a memorable trip.

Alternatively, take mealtimes outside to a private patio where you may feast while listening to the calming sound of the ocean waves.

When the stars come out, escape to a room with a queen-size bed or triple bunk beds to rest your head after taking a long, relaxing shower.

Explore the Tamar Valley AONB in the area, where Cotehele and Buckland Abbey, both owned by the National Trust, as well as Gem Bridge and a variety of walking routes, are located.

To find the Royal Citadel, The Mayflower Museum, Plymouth Gin Distillery, and Elizabethan Gardens, travel to Plymouth.

You may also experience a variety of taverns, restaurants, stores, and cafes to refuel before continuing your explorations.

About the location

WHITSAND BAY

Torpoint 5 miles.

Set in a bowl of hills at the head of a tidal creek that leads to the Hamoaze, opposite the great naval city of Plymouth, Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula, "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". Bounded by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is deeply rural and designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a good range of shops and pubs, while close by are the pretty coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, from which a ferry will take you to Plymouth. Along the southern edges of the peninsula are miles of beautiful walks with glorious views of Rame Head. Just a mile south of Millbrook lies Whitsand Bay with its miles of uncrowded sandy RNLI patrolled beach and dramatic cliffs. A superb base for discovering the wild side of Cornwall.
