The property

Liskeard 2 miles.

Ideally located for touring Cornwall, south Devon and both Dartmoor and Bodmin moors, this homely, well-furnished detached bungalow is located in the beautiful grounds of Rosecraddoc Lodge, just outside of the ancient stannary and market town of Liskeard.

A real home-from-home feeling greets you as you arrive at Westview.

Park right alongside your property, and enter into the well-thought-out open-plan living area with kitchen, sitting area and dining area.

There are two well-presented bedrooms, and a shower room to complete the accommodation.

Outside at the rear of the cottage is a delightful patio right alongside the River Seaton which flows from high up on the moor.

For the more adventurous the nearby Siblyback Lake offers an outdoor activity centre with sailing, windsurfing and the only Clockwise Cable Wakeboarding Park in the UK.

If you are struggling for something to do on days where the weather is less than favourable why not explore the Carnglaze Caverns which are located 23 minutes away from the property.

These covers host tours of the caverns as well as concerts and raves, which thanks to the acoustics have not failed to disappoint.

When it comes to planning a day out your options are endless.

One trip at the top of everyone's list is likely to be a visit to the small coastal town and fishing port of Looe.

By far the best way to arrive here is by train, so leave your car at the station in nearby Liskeard and take the railway along the Looe Valley line, a single-track branch line that takes you along scenic wooded riverbanks before arriving at the bustling port.

Westview is an 11-minute drive from the Adrenaline Quarry which is home to an Aquapark and where you can take part in Go Karting, Axe Throwing, and Coasteering among other amazing adventures.

With so much to do and see all close by a stay at Westview is one to be enjoyed at any time of year.
