“A perfect cottage for a family holiday in Cornwall.”

The house is very warm and homely, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with quality furnishings and nice artwork. We immediately felt at home and we loved the welcome basket with everything for a cream tea provided, such a nice gesture for tired travellers! The location is ideal for exploring the coastline with nearby St Agnes and Chapel Porth being our favourites, and Perranporth for surf lessons. We would certainly recommend this house for a cosy and comfortable family retreat.

The property

The picturesque beach at Trevaunance Cove is just a five-minute drive from Goshen Farm; this is the main beach at St Agnes and a family, best-kept secret.

With the old harbour and a labyrinth of caves to explore, there's plenty to keep you amused and, at low tide, there is the opportunity to walk to the neighbouring, northerly beach of Trevellas Porth.

Chapel Porth is also within easy driving distance.

Set in a mining valley between high cliffs, the first view of the cove is quite dramatic, while for walking enthusiasts the breathtaking views along the coastal path are a must-see.

Goshen Farm is a pretty, detached property which has been carefully preserved, retaining a lot of the original features.

Situated in the attractive, wooded and sheltered Perran Valley, this substantial property is well-located for a peaceful yet busy holiday!

Surrounded by and overlooking acres of farmland, the house is blessed with country sounds, beautiful views, and a private lawned garden.

The famous seaside town of Perranporth, with a golf course and the long stretch of Perran Sands - great for surfing - is nearby.

In twenty-five minutes reach the cathedral city of Truro for serious shopping and entertainment at The Hall for Cornwall.

The whole of the west Cornwall coastline is never more than thirty-five minutes away: enjoy a trip to Newquay Zoo, the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, the Tate Gallery at St Ives, and loads of great beach activities.

Closer to home, a short walk from the farm will take you to the village of Mithian where there is an attractive pub, The Miner's Arms, and a country-house hotel.

Extensively refurbished, Goshen Farm is a place of comfort and tranquillity, ideal for families who enjoy exploring countryside and coastline.

Spacious and tastefully furnished, guests will find a home from home.

Goshen Farm parking for 2 cars.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.
