Stocks Barn is a delightful rural barn conversion close to the seaside of Looe. Accessed via a pretty country lane, the barn, with parking for two vehicles, has an enclosed garden mostly laid to lawn with wonderful rural views. The front door leads into an open plan kitchen and living area with lovely wood burning stove, the family bathroom and master bedroom. Downstairs is the twin room and a small utility area with washer/dryer. Throughout, the barn is immaculately presented and tastefully furnished to a high standard.
All our properties are personally appraised by our team, who work in association with Visit England to ensure quality standards are upheld.

Stocks Barn is an exquisite barn conversion tucked away in a country village landscape just four miles from the Cornish Riviera coastline. This attractive detached cottage is divinely presented and oozes comfort throughout - the perfect venue for relaxation after a day by the ocean. The fishing resort of Looe, set in a steep sided green valley is a 10 minute drive away. East Looe has a harbour, restaurants, the sandiest beach and main shops separated by the bridge over Looe River to West Looe. Here, there's a more tranquil feel with pebbly Hannafore Beach and good views to idyllic Looe Island. Picnic, sail, swim or enjoy a ramble along the super scenic coast path to Polperro. This enigmatic spot is very picturesque with traditional inns framing the dinky quay. Visit the historic harbourside resort of Fowey - a much favoured destination. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Fowey hosts an annual regatta, the Daphne du Maurier event, St Catherines Castle, an aquarium, museum and lots more. Hire a kayak and paddle up the estuary, take a pleasure boat trip, board the ferry to characterful Polruan or simply sit at one of the waterside eateries under a blue sky. Closer to home, Stocks Barn is less than two miles from a good foodie pub and village store for provisions, and Liskeard is just over four miles away for a bigger selection of shops. Whitsand Bay with white cliffs, far reaching ocean vista and beach is reached within a 25 minute drive. The accommodation at Stocks Barn makes a blissful bolthole for family, friends and couples. The open-plan sitting room makes a very inviting space, particularly in the cooler months with a hot chocolate by the wood burner. The dining table creates a spot for socialising and board games alongside the smart kitchen. The bedrooms are delightfully presented; the cabin beds are great for adults too! The sun-trap garden is enclosed; a pretty screened nook with country views for dining, and a safe haven for children and four-legged friends to play.

2 Bedrooms - Sleeping up to 4 Adults 2 steps to Entrance. Ground Floor: Open Plan Living Room with wood burner and 24" TV and Kitchen. Shower Room with walk-in shower and WC. Bedroom 1 Double. Stairs to Lower Ground Floor (part open side with handrail) to : Bedroom 2 Twin with 3' cabin beds. Boot room area. Other amenities: FREE Wi-Fi, dishwasher, Bluetooth speaker, charcoal barbecue and one basket of logs provided. Towels, bed linen and central heating included. One pet welcome at £25 per week. The property offers accommodation over two floors and has a mixture of tiles, carpets and rugs throughout. External door is larger than standard width at 84cm and standard in height. Internal doors range from 75cm -76 cm in width and 192cm -196.5 in height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. The enclosed garden has a mixture of level lawn and gravel patio area. There is off-road parking for two cars on a level gravel surface approx 4 m from the entrance.
