Our children loved the freedom and exploring the grounds. They had the feeling of independence in a safe, outdoor environment. Even on the rainy days, the toys and games provided in the property were very welcome and used. Then the additions of the games room and small soft play a short walk away allowed them to to stay entertained and have that ‘holiday’ feeling. The farm is lovely and became a firm favourite with our children. The fact you can just be trusted to wander around the animals, hold Guinea pigs etc isn’t something you normally find and had definitely created core memories! It was all clean and tidy and everything was available in the property that we needed. Beds were comfortable and lots of places to unpack your belongings that made it feel homely. Even though the weather didn’t allow us to use the decking area, I would imagine it would have been one of the most used and loved places if it had. The only thing I would say is the temperature of the water is so, so hot. There are details on how to turn it down in the detailed welcome book however, maybe just us, but we didn’t find the place to turn it down. We just decided to monitor the children when washing their hands etc. I’m sure it would have been resolved quickly by asking but we found away around that was fine for us. Maybe it could just be turned down in general from the beginning of the stay. All in all, a wonderful stay. We would recommend for a family friendly stay with lots to do in a great location to many wonderful places in Cornwall. Thank you!
