    “Lovely little place.”

    It had everything we needed. The mattress on the double bed desperately needs replacing though it's worn out. Cleaning also needs more attention in general.

A beautifully-presented, stone-built barn conversion, one of two in a quiet rural location on the edge of the village of Menheniot near Liskeard, South Cornwall.

There are two comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as an open plan living area providing a sociable space for everyone to gather together after an exciting day out.

Nearby, there are some fabulous walks to enjoy on Bodmin Moor, where there are plenty of rivers, antiquities, trails and mineral tramways amidst the wide open landscapes, which are sure to capture your imagination.

The south Cornish coastline is only a short drive, where there are plenty of pretty ports to visit, including Looe and Polperro.

The two beautiful lakes nearby at Colliford and Siblyback provide cycleways, fishing and watersports opportunities set in a natural conservation setting.

The historic market town of Liskeard is located in South East Cornwall at the head of the Looe Valley. The town is home to a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. The beaches and harbour of the quaint fishing port of Looe is a mere 9 miles away. In-between there’s fishing at nearby Siblyback Lake, the Donkey Sanctuary at St Ann's Chapel, Cotehele House (NT) and gardens, and the championship golf course at St Mellion International Resort. Head to the world-famous Eden Project for a superb day out with the children. Even the maritime city of Plymouth with its historic Barbican docks area, outstanding shops, theatres and restaurants and the National Maritime Museum is only 30 minutes by car.
