Approached by a secure gated entrance, Morrane sits in over 8 acres of private grounds shared with the owner's farmhouse and three other properties including Phoenix Cottage, Demelza Cottage and Omalast, which are also available to book. Off the beaten track yet just 5 miles from Cornwall's cosmopolitan capital city of Truro, with its shops, bar, restaurants and farmers markets, and 6 miles from the vibrant maritime town of Falmouth where time can be spent exploring the scenic coast path and white sand beaches. This lovely detached, single storey Swiss style lodge offers creature comforts for both dogs and their owners. The large and enclosed garden will get tails wagging and there is a doggie welcome pack and dog friendly pubs, beaches and glorious walks nearby. It is perfect for couples and families seeking the chance to relax and unwind and equally good for an action packed break with an 18 hole golf course at Killiow Estate, a water sports centre offering boat hire and sailing and windsurfing tuition at Loe Beach and cycle hire at Bissoe, all conveniently nearby. Central and equidistant from the north and south coast, sightseers will find it convenient for exploring the surfing beaches at Porthtowan and Perranporth, the renowned sub-tropical gardens at Trebah and Trelissick and the quaint fishing villages and hidden coves of the Lizard Peninsula. Morrane has a fresh modern home interior, arranged on one level, with a comfortable and casual vibe. The smart open plan living room with glazed doors to an enclosed deck patio bring the outdoors in. Guests in the master bedroom have a private decked patio for a morning coffee with delicious views and the en-suite bathroom has a deep stress-busting tub and a separate shower that is large enough for two. The twin bedroom has comfortable zip and link beds which can be presented as a double on request. There is a generous welcome tray on arrival and a mid-week bed linen change is available on request.
Accommodation Sleeps 4 Ground Floor: Open Plan Living Room with Kitchen and 32" TV. Bedroom 1 Double with 5' Bed, 32" TV and en-suite bathroom with a bath, separate walk-in shower and WC. Bedroom 2 Twin (two 3' twin beds which can zip and link to a 6' double bed on request) with 32" TV and en-suite shower room and WC. Other amenities: FREE wi-fi, Fridge freezer and radio with wi-fi speaker. Bed linen, towels and bathrobes. Gas central heating included. Up to two pets welcome at £25 each per week. Doggie welcome basket, throws, blanket, feeding bowl, towels and toy box. Dog sitting available on arrangement. (Please note, the owner has two cats.) The accommodation is arranged over one floors and has vinyl, carpet and rug flooring throughout. The external doors range from 68-148cm in width and and 192-198cm in height. Internal doors range from 76-82cm in width and are all of a standard height. Kitchen worktops are of a standard height. The garden has a mixture of lawn, decking, paths and steps. There is parking for two cars on a level tarmac drive less than 10m from the entrance door. From the parking there are three steps to the gate and a further two steps to the entrance door.
