The Honey Fair takes place annually on the first Wednesday in October and is one of the largest street fairs in Cornwall.

Callington is not far from the Tamar Valley – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – and Kit Hill Country Park is just outside the town. Kit Hill is an ideal place for picnics and walks, and offers some wonderful views across to Bodmin Moor. The National Trust property, Cotehele, is just south east of the town.
