This delightful and homely detached bungalow rests within the village of Quintrell Downs just 3 miles from Newquay offering a superb base for touring all of Cornwall and in particular the spectacular north coast.

This ground-floor accommodation is set in a quiet residential area in the village and is well served by both train and bus services and offers an excellent local shop a short walk away Upon entering this property after passing through the porch you are welcomed into the spacious sitting room with comfy furniture and a smart TV.

It comes with a double bedroom and a large zip and link bedroom offering a choice of a remote control adjustable super king size bed or two singles, ensuring a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit everybody.

For dining look forward to spending your time within the bright and airy underfloor heated conservatory which overlooks and has access to the beautiful enclosed garden, perfect for al fresco.

The garden is full of colour throughout most of the year with spring bulbs, stunning camelias, hydrangeas and tropical palms.

You are welcome to help yourself to fruit from the large fig tree when in season.

At the side of the bungalow and accessed from both the front and rear is a really useful passage way, ideal for muddy dogs and storing bikes, boards and beach equipment.

If you don’t feel like cooking one evening, make your way into the centre of the local village of Quintrell Downs where you have a choice of three pubs all within 5 minutes walk and offering a range of food and local ales.

Newquay, one of the leading seaside resorts in the UK is 3 miles away, here you will find a selection of pubs and restaurants to suit all, as well as a number of shops to pick up any essentials alongside souvenirs for your loved ones back home.

For days out, beaches are going to be the main attraction with some of Cornwall’s finest, Fistral, Great Western, Crantock, Holywell Bay and Porth all within 5 miles.

A choice of two indoor swimming pools and a golf course are all close by for those feeling more active as well as the breathtaking south west coastal path which can be picked up from nearby Porth beach.

Brush up on the local history by visiting the National Trust owned Trerice Manor, a splendid Elizabethan Manor with historic interiors and wonderful gardens.

Venture to Newquay Zoo set in 13 acres of lush tropical gardens and home to over 1000 of the world’s rarest and endangered species.
