Our second stay here, lovely and peaceful, spotlessly clean inside.
One thing that stood out was the unkempt grass outside which needed a cut and the dreadful black wheelie bin with scores of fog pop bags, some split that had obviously been there a while as they were stuck together and to the bin- generated a swarm of tiny white maggots during our stay so we ended up cleaning the bin out and double bagging the bags, something that we shouldn’t have to have had to deal with. Apart from this blip we still rate the accommodation highly.

Good location.
Well equipped and beautifully clean (except a stale urine smell around the toilet which I suspect needs a thorough clean and not just an arbitrary mopping) and nicely accessible for my mother. Lovely touch of scones, jam and cream on arrival. Comfortable beds. I would say that the 2nd bedroom needs a king size bed rather than having 2 twin bedrooms. The electric recliner chair was an added bonus for my elderly mother. The only element which frustrated us was the cleaner arriving at 9.40 am and she sat out side in her car (with her partner - orange car) so we felt hurried. We were almost ready anyway but I felt very flustered doing those last minute checks. 10am is an early departure time anyway but to be put under pressure to get out quickly (and early) was most unacceptable.
