“The views from the accommodation were better than expected and we spent hours watching the surfers and golfers.”

The sofa and bed were comfortable. The walk to the beach and town were short and there was plenty to do nearby. The underground parking felt secure. We were very disappointed with the standard of cleanliness, the bathrooms still had toothpaste stains in the sink, hair around the toilets and bath, the washing machine was full of mould, the hoover absolutely stunk and overall it appeared the property hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. Considering the price we paid to stay here it was a shame more ...

The property

Newquay Fistral Beach View is a beautifully appointed second-floor apartment set in a prime position above the world-renowned Fistral Beach and Newquay Golf Course, offering sweeping coastal views and a boutique-standard holiday experience.

With its elevated outlook, stylish interiors, and proximity to Cornwall’s most celebrated destinations, it provides an exceptional base for exploring the coast in comfort and style. Guests benefit from secure underground parking and lift access directly to the apartment, making it particularly well-suited to those with limited mobility.

Inside, the generous open-plan living space is designed for both relaxation and connection, featuring plush seating, a Smart TV, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame panoramic views over Fistral Beach and the fairways below. The sleek, fully equipped kitchen includes high-end appliances and a breakfast bar that doubles as a sociable dining space.

Step out onto the private, wind-sheltered balcony to enjoy alfresco meals with seating for six—an ideal spot to unwind and take in the uninterrupted views. Two of the bedrooms open directly onto the balcony, including a king-size room with en-suite and a twin room, while the third double bedroom also features its own en-suite shower room.

All bedrooms are furnished with hotel-quality beds, crisp cotton linens, and thoughtful touches throughout. The apartment’s coastal character is reflected in its curated artwork, including photography by Clare James and an original 1971 Bilbo surfboard—handmade and shaped by the late Bill Bailey, a close relative of the owner and widely regarded as the 'Father of British Surfing'.

These rare pieces add authenticity, heritage, and a distinctive personal flair to the interiors. Newquay offers a vibrant mix of independent shops, cafés, welcoming pubs, and excellent restaurants serving fresh local produce and seafood.

The town is packed with activities: surf at the National Surf Centre, paddleboard or coasteer along the shoreline, join a sea safari or fishing trip, or unwind at one of the local spas.

Families can enjoy the Blue Reef Aquarium, home to over 40 naturally-themed habitats, or visit Newquay Zoo, which houses more than 130 species including African Savannah and Madagascan walkthrough exhibits.

For a slower pace, explore Trenance Gardens, take a pedalo on the Boating Lake, or enjoy a round of golf at Newquay Golf Club, where visitors are warmly welcomed. Nearby beaches such as Towan, Great Western, Lusty Glaze, and Watergate Bay each offer their own unique appeal and coastal experience.

The apartment is also ideally located for day trips to Padstow, St Ives, and St Agnes, all within easy reach. Whether you're chasing waves, exploring the coast, or simply relaxing in a beautifully designed space, Newquay Fistral Beach View promises a stylish and memorable Cornish escape. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 987909, together sleeping 10 guests.
