Disappointed in that the main door on to the balcony still not fixed as last time we stayed, the owner Simon said he was going to repair them.

On the balcony we found a beer bottle and a couple of cigarette ends. Do the cleaners not check the balcony? Scaffolding still up in main bedroom blocking the view, also found hairs on one of the pillows.

We really liked the apartment; it was very clean and spacious.

It features underground parking for two cars and an elevator right next to the unit, which was very convenient for us given that we use a wheelchair. The location is ideal, with everything close by. On the downside, the balcony door in the living room didn't work—access was only possible through the bedroom—and the balcony itself was very dirty.

Unfortunately the accommodation had been damaged by previous tenants/occupants.

Patio doors could not be opened to balcony with access only via guest bedrooms. Additional damage to marble worktop and furniture which was a shame as the apartment was of a high standard with fantastic views. Apartment is in a great location with easy access to local amenities.

The accommodation is ideally situated on the edge of Newquay with fabulous views from all the rooms.

The parking underneath the building with easy lift access to the accommodation is excellent and worked well. This is ideal accommodation for easy access to other areas of Cornwall, not far from the A30, and within easy access for walking the coast path or going into Newquay. There is a small well stocked Tesco almost next door for supplies and this is a comfortable flat with regards seating and sleeping. The owner was most helpful when we had an issue with expected post arriving in a locked letter box without a key. We stayed in December and the flat was extremely cold for the first few days but we did find additional electric heaters in the utility room on the last day! Unfortunately there was no welcome pack and it would have been good to have had some instructions and information. The only instructions are for waste disposal and recycling. Only two of the hobs our of five worked on the induction hob and there was damage to the marble top on the island. The door onto the balcony from the lounge was damaged and could not be used and the only escape route was from one bedroom. There is only one hairdryer for the three bedrooms and future guests may wish to consider taking their own. Tucked away beneath the cliff opposite the property is the Tolcarne Beach Resort and although they were not doing hot food during our stay it was a lovely venue to go to and have coffee and cake and watch the sea. Well worth a visit although not easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues although there is a small car park for resort guests and we were able to park there for a short while for coffee and cake giving our registration number to the staff.

Stunning apartment in great location.

Clean and supplied with everything you would need. Spacious and luxurious. Would highly recommend. My only recommendation would be for the heating to be switched on in colder months prior to guest arrival. I presume it had been off for a few days as the underfloor heating took a couple of days to warm the apartment to a comfortable level.

Our apartment was in an ideal location to explore Newquay and surrounding areas.

The bus route also stopped right outside our door. It was modern and comfortable however a few things let it down. Firstly there was a lack of instructions on entering the car park and apartment. If it wasn’t for a kind neighbour we would still be sitting outside. Inside we were extremely disappointed to find the main patio door was broken and you could not open it. Three of the dining room chairs were broken, the seats just lifted off. There were no instructions for the appliances or how to empty your rubbish in the correct place. Overall we had a great time but felt a few things but in place would have made it much better.

Having traveled from Norfolk to Newquay somewhere nice to relax after the drive is what was needed and 17 cliff edge was exactly that!

The photos really don’t do this place justice from the space in the rooms to the hall way to the views this apartment was absolutely stunning in a perfect location watching the sunset in front of your balcony every night to the early surfers in the morning I couldn’t recommend this place enough there has quite clearly been a lot of thought gone into this place the design the comfort the little water features throughout the hallway really is a beautiful apartment parking is as easy as finding your numbered spot park up and use the lift up to your stay so not having to worry about where or if anyone has taken your parking really was a lovely stay thanks for making our Cornwall experience that little bit better!

. amazing views and location . Lovely accommodation, stylish modern and spacious, excellent facilities, utility room was a bonus . Slightly disappointed with the comfort of the bed , and some minor maintenance issues . Overall it was fantastic, would recommend and would definitely stay again !

17 Cliff Edge is a lovely holiday property.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday there. There is so much space, its far bigger than the photos show. The views from the windows and balconies fantastic and the road below really didn't bother us. Couple of small points it would help to have instructions for the appliances in the property. Get rid of the dead and dying pot plants and dried out reed diffusers. These things make the property look uncared for.

We had a great week at 17 Cliff Edge.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The accommodation is exactly as listed. The many bathrooms are well presented and maintained to a high standard. The views from the apartment would have been spectacular had it not been for the scaffolding covering most of the building. It would have been good to know that work was being done and to expect workers at our window at 8.30 in the morning. Our stay would have been even better if the windows had been cleaned before we arrived. We cleaned the outsides ourselves . The plants were mostly dead which is a shame . These need to be removed. The balconies could do with a clean too. Only minor things. That said the property is well situated and secure. It's a great base to explore the wonderful beaches around Newquay. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment, well equipped, other than the dishwasher did not work.

Very spacious. Great secure parking. Description did not say that electric car charging points were available at each bay. Bonus for electric car drivers. Road works were finished during our stay. Great views over Tolcarne Bay.

A lovely place to stay , could have done with an information book.

Owner helpful when contacted. Dishwasher door wouldn’t shut but we ate out anyway. Road outside was dug up all night on the first night, kerbs dug up all night on the following night and tarmac laid on the third night so need to go back home to get some sleep! The roadworks were here couldn’t be helped but maybe a notification when booking especially as scaffolding was obscuring the view from main bedroom which had been there for quite some time and looks like for some time ahead.

Second time we love the apartment and location but it is along way to go for us.

This was our second time there and it is still a lovely apartment and very comfortable although it would have been nice to have been informed about the roadworks right outside and the scaffolding against the window in 1 bedroom.

Also we thought it could do with some coasters, smaller saucepans and a teapot. We were also left with the wrong code number for the Refuse Store. There also appears to be a leak from the roof of the balcony off the lounge when it rains. We would still stay again if returning to Newquay.

Wonderful place to stay everything was as advertised in fact even better.

Very helpful owner nothing to much trouble and the views of the surfing were amazing. Will definitely go back if we get the chance
