Bryher Cottage is a welcoming three-bedroom barn conversion in the picturesque and peaceful village of St Mawgan, North Cornwall, ideally located for exploring the area's beaches, coastal walks and attractions.

Sleeping five, the cottage is particularly well suited to families and friends, with three bedrooms, an enclosed rear garden and parking for two cars on the private lane.

One well-behaved dog up to 15kg is also welcome, making it a great base for a family holiday with your four-legged friend.

The heart of the cottage is its light and sociable open-plan living space, combining a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting room.

Large windows and exposed beams add character, while the woodburning stove makes the room especially cosy on cooler evenings.

There's a Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker and a selection of board games for relaxed evenings indoors.

The kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering stay, including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, electric oven, ceramic hob, coffee machine, microwave and the dining table seats six.

Patio doors open directly from the living area onto the enclosed rear garden, which has a lawn, decking, outdoor furniture, picnic bench and charcoal barbecue – a lovely space for morning coffee, family lunches or an evening barbecue after a day at the beach.

Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms: a king-size, a double (with access from one side only) and a twin, together with a family bathroom featuring a freestanding bath and separate walk-in shower.

The bedrooms offer high-quality linen and blackout blinds.

The cottage includes bed linen, towels and a starter pack for the woodburning stove.

The village itself is a real highlight, with St Mawgan Stores and Tea Rooms, The Falcon Inn, village green and children's playground, Japanese Garden, St Mawgan Church and Lanherne Carmelite Monastery all within a five-minute walk.

For days by the sea, Mawgan Porth (2.2 miles) and Watergate Bay (3 miles) are both excellent beaches for surfing, walks and enjoying nearby restaurants.

Bedruthan Steps (5 miles) is a favourite for spectacular clifftop walks, while beaches including Porthcothan, Constantine, Treyarnon and Harlyn are within easy reach.

Newquay (6 miles) offers a wide range of beaches, shops, restaurants and attractions, while Padstow (7 miles) is perfect for a day exploring its harbour, independent shops, restaurants and access to the Camel Trail.With its village setting, enclosed garden, relaxed living space and easy access to some of North Cornwall's best beaches and attractions, Bryher Cottage makes an ideal base for a relaxed Cornish holiday Note: Please remember beach towels and bedding for the cot.
