Positioned within easy reach of the scenic north Cornish coastline and beaches, this property is the idyllic base for two couples looking to explore this fantastic part of the country.

A spacious level driveway greets you at the front of the property, leading you to the doorway and over the threshold, into a handy hallway where you can kick off your shoes before continuing through to the sitting room, beautifully decorated with a light and airy interior, inviting you to put your feet up as you lounge on the sofa to enjoy a spot of television.

Head through to the open-plan kitchen/diner where you'll be delighted by the contemporary décor, fit with gleaming surfaces and modern amenities, and flooded with natural lighting welcomed in through the patio doors, where you can where you can gather with your guests with a seat at the stylish kitchen island to enjoy a chilled glass of wine as you indulge in your culinary delights.

If you're lucky enough to experience the warmer weather, take your dining experience outside to the garden, boasting views across the surrounding countryside, where you can watch the sunset over the horizon before heading back inside to prepare for bed with a rejuvenating rinse in the family bathroom.

Choose between either of the two double bedrooms, both of which feature a delightful neutral colour scheme, offering a peaceful ambiance to rest your head after a day full of adventure.

Completing the property is an external utility, offering a handy space to store your beach going essentials.

If you fancy a break from doing the cooking, take the short stroll into Park Bottom for a delicious meal at The New Inn, serving home cooked dishes using fresh local produce, and if you time it right, you can even enjoy a spot of live music, a game of pool or a challenging quiz night.

Travel the short distance to the nearby town of Redruth, where the centre boasts a selection of independent and high street shopping opportunities as well as a host of exciting attractions, including a cinema, The Cornwall Centre, displaying an abundance of local history to discover, and Cornwall Gold and Tolgus Mill, Cornwall’s last working Victorian tin mill, dating back to 1865, set over 18 acres of beautiful Cornish landscape.

Pack your bucket and spade and head to Portreath Beach, where you can soak in the sunshine from the beautiful golden sand, or tackle the waves with a lesson at HQ Surfing School, rejuvenating with a pint of Cornish ale with a stop at The Basset Arms.

From Portreath you can join the South West Coastal Path through the valley of the Carvannel Downs, offering panoramic views of the stunning coastline, leading you to Mutton Cove, home to a fantastic population of Grey Seals.

For an unforgettable staycation to Cornwall, choose Summerhayes as the base that you'll be delighted to return home to.

We had wonderful time at Summerhayes bungalow and real home from home comforts.

Perfectly situated for visiting Cornwall, including Portreath which is a 5 minute drive down the same road. A vist to St. Ives is a must after catching the train from St. Erth. We will definitely be back soon.

This is our second visit to this property and it’s a very comfortable and spacious bungalow, situated close to the nearest beach and to reach the many tourist spots.

The only issue we had was with the oven which was cooking too fast and burning
