Rock Cottage is a unique property as it sits on rocks in the Port Mellon bay and has waves from the see almost touchable from the windows.

Stuart met us at the cottage and gave us eggs, milk and cake! He was very helpfull regarding the local areas. Inside is a kitchen/dining room with all that is needed. The other side of the staircase is the lounge area with tv, dvd player and dvds, very comfy 3 seater and 2 seater recliner sofas, log burner... An ideal spot to relax and unwind listening to the waves. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms....1 double and 1 twin with comfy beds. Bathroom with bath, shower over bath and toilet....very clean and well kept. Overall our stay was very relaxing and stress free and on our final morning we really wanted to stay longer but hopefully will return again in the future.

A comfortable home from home with many thoughtful touches from the homemade cake , eggs and milk on arrival to the really useful night light sensor on the upstairs landing. Happy to sit on the little sun trap of an outside area for hours on end listening to the waves breaking below. The sun rises are spectacular as are the views from every window.

A lovely cottage, very well equipped and comfortable for a family of 4 for a week.

The property owner was very welcoming and helpful. A great location both to explore locally on foot - Mevagissey and coastal path - and also by car - Eden project, Lost gardens of Heligan and Truro. Portmellon is a lovely village with The Shack and The Rising Sun restaurant both worth a visit. Very relaxing to hear the sound of the sea.

This was one of the best family holiday locations I have been to.

We had a fantastic time. The area is beautiful with all the amenities we needed within walking distance. The pub next door was very family friendly with wonderful food and drink. The cafe shack next door had lots of choice for a snack or two. Only a short walk to the very pretty Mevagissey where again lots more choice of thing to do and places to eat. The bay its self was wonderful to swim in every day and very safe for children. We used the paddle boarding shack to opposit the pub. The house its self is very family friendly with everything you could think of needed to keep you going. Richard was extremely helpful if needed and helped us with lots of questions about things to do in the area. A beautiful house and location with very friendly people, we will definitely be back again.

Rock Cottage DELIGHTED us.

Not only was it in a matchless location where the sound of the waves was ever present, it was equipped with everything you could ask for: extremely comfortable beds, a towel rail which was always warm, lovely fluffy towels, dog bowls and welcome treats. Nothing was missing.

Lovely little Cornish cottage hanging over the sea.

Hearing the waves all day and night we loved it. Fantastic location to see lots of attractions, great for walking, swimming, and a pub over the road with restaurant.

Clean and comfortable with a much appreciated welcome pack. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and would love to return.

Spectacular location, amazing sunrises.

Very well equipped but could do with better heating in the bathroom ( it was December!). Owner, Stuart very helpful with local suggestions and welcome goodies. Spent a lot of time just watching tide and wildlife - seals, cormorants and very brave swimmers every morning.

The cottage was comfortable and the greeting and goodies from Stuart made us feel welcomed. In my opinion you couldn’t beat the location of this property, it felt like you were in the sea and part of the beach. We loved it and would love to come back, thank you
