The Barn at Trevothen Farm

What an absolutely lovely place to stay for the week we had an amazing time.

Thank you to Sharon and Dave who were fabulous hosts. We loved the barn and would definitely come back. We loved the area and had some really special days out. Really sad to leave.

We had a really fantastic stay and the barn was a great place with Sharon and Dave as friendly and welcoming hosts.

The barn was clean, spacious and peaceful, a really relaxing location. A 15min walk into Coverack made this a perfect family holiday location.

We all enjoyed staying at the Barn, its location is peaceful and remote but easily found.

The Barn is nicely presented and you quickly feel at home the owners are happy to help with any questions. Just our sort of place, many thanks for a pleasant week.

We had a smashing week with Sharon and Dave !

. They were very welcoming and very happy to help with any queries . The cottage was lovely, clean and very comfortable , and the location was great too , so quiet with lovely views .We saw a large red deer in the field across the road ,and a couple of foxes too. It was perfect for exploring all replaced of interest in that area ,and we had an evening at the Minack Theatre ( Wind in The Willows !) . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Barn Cottage at Trevothen Farm , you'll have a great holiday !.

Beautiful and lovingly restored barn conversion.

Quiet and perfectly placed to visit all of the key beaches and walks on Lizard and close to gorgeous coverack. Property was comfortable , and nothing is overlooked . Very comfortable beds and pillows ? Which is often overlooked in some holiday lets. Super set out kitchen / dining area , and relaxing lounge area .outside area is orivate and cozy with nice sunbeds and outside dining table etc. Would highly recommend and will definitely return

Very comfortable, home from home. Spacious but very cosy. Well equipped kitchen, super shower and really comfy bedroom. Great location, lovely walks and good places to eat. Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely cosy cottage and we really enjoyed our stay.

We liked the rural and very quiet location yet it still being a great place to explore west Cornwall and close enough to walk to the village and beach. The cottage was stunning and had everything we needed. We lit the fire in the evening to keep warm which made it extra cosy. The beds are comfortable and the whole place very clean. The hosts are really lovely and even though they are just next door we had privacy and could contact them if we needed anything. We will definitely return and recommend to others as a fab place to stay.

This is quite an outstanding Holiday let.

It is shown as sleeping 4, we were just a 2 and if there had been 4 of us there would still have been plenty of room. The hosts made us very welcome.

Brilliant holiday property.

Lovely owners who provided everything needed to make it a very enjoyable stay. From the welcome cake, milk and eggs to the lovely, comfortable accommodation, we couldn't have asked for more. Lovely area as well.

We had a lovely peaceful stay at the Barn.

Everything was as described, very clean, the comfiest beds we've ever slept in during a holiday, fabulous shower. Sharon and Dave were the perfect hosts, they were always there if you needed them.

I would love to keep this one secret - sympathetically done a lovely barn conversion.

The private patio - always in the sun when it shone was a great addition to the letting perfect for evening meals and glass of wine. A great place for relaxing with generous and helpful hosts.

We had a wonder stay in the Barn.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sharon and Dave, who also provided a delicious homemade cake, milk and eggs. The Barn has been converted to a very high standard and has everything you will ever need. The patio is a suntrap with a large wooden table and chairs, sun-loungers umbrella and BBQ. The beds are very comfortable with quality bedding. Trevothen Farm is in a lovely quiet location only 15 minutes walk to Coverack.

We whole heartedly recommend this wonderful holiday barn conversion.

It has been renovated in a beautiful way and therefore the stay is a perfect home from home. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. We both felt extremely relaxed during our stay and envisage a return visit in the future. Both Sharon and Dave are both kind and thoughtful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Coastal and inland walks are in the doorstep and a car free stay could easily be accommodated if desired to explore by foot. Thank you Sharon and Dave for a wonderful staycation.

Delightful barn conversion with all the amenities you could wish for in a holiday.

Sharon & Dave were excellent thoughtful hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Nice welcome touches of home baked cake, eggs and milk on arrival. Well located for exploring the local area.

My first words when entering the The Barn was “wow”.

Stunning and the decor was right up our street. It was all done to a high spec. It was myself, husband and three-year-old son stayed here for a week. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners Sharon & Dave. We had requested a stair gate to be fitted to keep our little munchkin safe during night wandering! Dave fitted it for us the night we arrived which was much appreciated. We had some little welcome goodies of milk, eggs and homemade lemon cake, which was greatly received by all of us. It was a home from home space and our little one certainly made himself at home . Everything you need in the kitchen if not more than you need. It was excellent. The washing machine and dishwasher was a godsend also. The barn was super comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful and beds were fantastic as I always dread going away and worrying about the mattress being uncomfortable. We have had some horrific ones in our time . But no problems here. Lovely little courtyard garden which was needed with a little one who wanted to be outside all the time. I was able to lock the gate and no he was safe. It is situated in a very quiet area, it is a single track road to and from cottage, supermarkets were about 20 minutes drive away. But Coverack itself was a lovely little village and was a short distance down a very steep hill, We only visited it once whilst we were waiting for our cottage to be ready, we had a walk on the beach. But it has a little shop which we found was quite expensive,Fish and chip shop and pub. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay we use the barn as our base but visited many of the well known attractions such as Lands end, penzance, Marazion, Saint Ives, Newquay, Healys cyder farm, Porthleven (fantastic fish & chip shop) Kynance cove we highly recommend, what a beautiful spot. Thank you so much to Sharon and Dave we hope to be back one day.

Hi we had a wonderful time staying at the Barn.

Our hosts made us very welcome even leaving a delicious lemon drizzle cake, local milk and half a dozen eggs. The Barn was very well presented and you could see alot of thought had gone into the renovation making it a wonderfully unique holiday property. We would recommend to anyone. The property is well situated to visit explore the lizard peninsula and beyond. Thankyou

The barn is a comfortable relaxing lovely place to holiday.

The hosts are friendly and helpful, nice welcome with yummy lemon cake, didn't want for anything while staying. Coverack has all u need, beach, cafe, pub, restaurant,great walks and friendly people and is well placed for exploring this part of Cornwall. Will definitely be back.

Great location for exploring Cornwall and a lovely peaceful location for a relaxing break. The barn had everything you could possibly need, was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Sharon & Dave were welcoming & helpful, providing a delicious lemon cake and local eggs and milk for our arrival. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour Chez Sharon et Dave.

Leur maison a été rénovée avec soin. Elle est très confortable, jolie et douillette. Ils ont été très attentifs à nous (chauffage proposé, accueil avec un délicieux cake, des oeufs et du lait...) Leur maison est à 15 minutes à pied du village de Coverack que nous avons adoré. Superbe ambiance dans ce petit port. Beaucoup de balades à faire (Coast path). Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

We were welcomed on arrival by the owner with milk, eggs from her chickens and a delicious home made cake.The Barn has been beautifully converted and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The patio area is a real bonus on sunny days and I imagine the wood burner would make it very cosy in the colder weather. The location is great - so peaceful and quiet, yet only a 15-20 minute walk to the beautiful fishing village of Coverack. We would most definitely stay here again.
