Lake View

Within 48 hours of arriving "Chris" the owner asked me if I was happy with everything.

I told him that we had made a mistake booking Lake View as the bedroom was for us extremerly restricted for space. I also said that we wouldn't book Lake View again but we would consider the other appartments, he stated that Lake View was the smallest. We already knew that the room was "tight" because of the photos but when you are in there you soon learn how narrow the bedroom is. From the matress edge the space from the side of the bed to the wall was 450mm narrowing down to 380mm where the radiator was, from our perspective that was too narrow although the photos did show this.

We loved staying at Lake View.

We were met by Chris who was extremely helpful. The accommodation was more than we expected. The special touch of scones,jam and cream waiting for us. The rooms were nicely decorated and very tasteful furniture. A lot of thought had gone into the decor. Great to have a washer/dryer, all I had to do was put the clothes away. Stanley our Bichon Frise loved looking through the veranda of the people and other dogs walking along the road. We will definitely book again.

Everyone’s holiday preference is different but this rental fulfilled all our requirements for a stay in Falmouth.

It was close to local beaches and to the town centre consequently it was not necessary for us to use our car to get about The property was clean and tidy and as described in the listing. It was apparent that the owner took great pride in his apartments on site and was fastidious re cleanliness

Our 2nd visit and we really appreciated the bigger sofa, much more comfortable for 2.

Amazing location, we slept so well and felt very at home. Everything spotlessly clean. We would recommend this place definitely.

Luxury appartment set in a beautiful area close to Falmouth, Swanpool has a lovely nature reserve close to a safe beach which is perfect for visitors of all ages and their dogs.

Well appointed and maintained apartment with all you need for an enjoyable holiday.

Close to Swanpool beach and within comfortable walking distance of Gyllyngvase beach and Falmouth centre. Only negatives are the comfort of the 2 seater sofa and small size of bathroom and shower.

Lakeview was perfectly located.

Very clean and plenty of room. Owner getting bigger sofa as current one a little small for 2 people. It has all the facilities you'd need. Ironing board plus iron. Hairdryer and all the soaps and shampoo etc. Close to the beach. I couldn't say anything bad about it.

A very clean and well located property close to the lake and sea.

Chris was very helpful and friendly during our stay, my wife loved the scones (sadly i couldn’t have them as I am coeliac). We could have done with a second roll of loo roll and a couple of proper coffee mugs would have been nice. The sofa is well used and doesn’t offer much support now. But the TV with all the channels was excellent, the Wi-Fi was brilliant and the gardens and outside area were all kept very well.

Spotlessly clean, immaculate and everything we could wish for. Location perfect. Chris the owner was friendly and helpful. Loved our 2 week stay here and hope to return soon. The settee was comfortable but a bit on the small side for the 2 of us.

A great location: away from the bussle of Falmouth and overlooking Swanpool Lake but at the same time within walking distance of the beaches and town.

Lake View is bright, airy, modern and tastefully decorated and was very clean. Chris was a friendly host. Would happily recommend.

Beautiful apartment very peaceful and perfect for a stay to explore the surrounding coast and countryside.

No need to always use the car the beaches and town all within walking distance. The lake is fascinating wonderful birds. The coast path is amazing fantastic views. All in all a great weeks stay with comfortable accommodation to return to after a day out. Also the conservatory a bonus to sit and eat in and enjoy if it’s raining.

Fantastic property, clean, spacious, very well appointed, an absolute joy to stay here.

Chris, the owner is very friendly and helpful. It's ideally located, beside the lake and a short walk to the beach. Would we stay again. Oh yeah !!!

Situated a short walk to Swanpool beach.

Ideal accommodation for a couple. Lovely balcony for morning coffee or evening drinks. Very clean and excellent facilities.

Very nice, clean and newly refurbished apartment.

Coffee machine. Welcome pack a nice touch. Close to beach which allows dogs before 10am and after 6 pm in the Summer. About 25-30 minutes walk into Falmouth. Pay a visit to Hooked on the Rocks, if you like fish, adjacent to the beach.

Perfect stay for a long weekend.
