    “The Stables is an absolute gem!”

    So cosy, clean and extremely comfortable. The owners, Penny and Roy, are very friendly and helpful and have thought of everything to make a stay at this lovely cottage a must when visiting this wonderful part of Cornwall. The welcome pack and flowers were very thoughtful and much appreciated. The accommodation is well-presented, spacious and peaceful with lovely grounds to wander around, or just sit out in and enjoy after a long day exploring. We were always pleased to return and just chill out ...

We were always pleased to return and just chill out listening to the birdsong or having a cuddle with Roo and his new companion, Merlin, the two fluffiest, cutest dogs you could meet. We have now joined the band of The Stables "returners" of which there are many. We rarely return to the same cottage twice but enjoyed staying here so much last year that we came back. We very much recommend The Stables and would have no hesitation in booking again. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you Penny and Roy.

An old and picturesque market town nestled among lush green countryside, just five miles from the North Cornish Coast. The resort attractions of Newquay includes bars, clubs, a zoo, vibrant shops, the National Surfing Centre and fabulous beaches are all just 7 miles away, while 9 miles in the other direction is the sleepy fishing port of Padstow.
