Old Orchard Barn

Lovely place to stay and so very comfortable.

Mark couldn’t have been more helpful and responsive too. It was so useful to have two fridges and a huge hob to cook on. The hot tub was a treat after a very long journey too. The bedrooms stayed nice and cool, but we could have made use of a couple of fans for the main living area on our last evening, as it was hot. Not sure if any were on hand, and I didn’t think to ask, so that’s on me! We’d definitely stay here again and explore a bit more. It was a short visit for a family wedding (absolutely perfect location near Pentillie Castle) so we didn’t make the most of the area. Thanks so much for looking after us so well.

Unusual to find accommodation that not only matches it's description and photos but actually exceeds it!

Our first time at this amazing barn conversion & what a treat! Every room in the barn was spacious, comfortable and finished to an exceptional standard! Just Mum and I and our 2 retrievers so we had plenty of space yet the kitchen and lounge area was also very cosy in the evenings. The garden being completely secure was perfect for the dogs & the hot tub perfect for me! Hosts Mark and Le-Anne were in no way intrusive but were on hand if we needed anything (thank you both). For a fairly quiet week to enjoy some family time, the barn was perfect in both location and facilities and was so comfortable and beautifully done that we had to force ourselves out and about every day! Will definitely book again and cannot recommend highly enough.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Old Orchard Barn for a week in June whilst attending a family wedding at Pentillie Castle which is a short drive from the Barn.

Mark and Lee-Anne were the perfect hosts and couldn't have been more helpful during our stay, the information folder was incredibly clear and we had a lovely welcome pack of local biscuits and apple juice - delicious. The Barn itself was lovely, the rooms are comfortable and spacious with all required facilities available and, with a huge kitchen to prepare our meals in, it really felt like a home from home . Thank you for a really fantastic stay and we'll definitely be coming back. Lottie, Helen and Liz xx

This holiday cottage was perfect!

Spacious, immaculate and tastefully decorated. Very quiet location and secure private garden with grass for dogs. Hot tub is a wonderful extra luxury. I did alot of research to find the best place and this was it. I would recommend if you have dogs or not as the cottage was so clean. Mark was a great host.

We had a wonderful short stay at the barn.

The property was immaculate and fully kitted out. The hot tub was ready to use as soon as we arrived which made the children very happy. Mark was very thoughtful and communicative throughout which put our minds at ease. The surrounding area is absolutely glorious with loads of beautiful walks and nature to explore. Had a great stay here.

Lovely place even though we had a lot of rain Mark & Lee-Anne’s home was very welcoming. Lots of room & great facilities. The hot tub was fab. Great garden area for our 2 little dogs to play in. Bit of a trek to get to anywhere from the cottage by foot but only 10 minutes in the car into Saltash where there are plenty of shops ,pub’s & restaurants. All in all a great place to stay thanks.

Loved this property as a family I want to rebook for next year, just maybe for 2 of us first of all.

Really good base for a lot of places to visit. There was a really good dog walking beach at Seaton. Want too stay again

We had a lovely couple of weeks at Old Orchard Barn.

Mark and Leanne were lovely and really helpful and the property is perfect for a family break, with an enclosed garden for our dog. It’s perfectly located to explore West Devon and South Cornwall and we had lovely days out at Looe, Whitsand Bay, Plymouth and Tavistock. Adrenaline Quarry was also lots of fun.

A beautiful property in a great location for exploring both Cornwall and Devon.

We loved the private garden and quiet surroundings. The beds were the most comfortable we have experienced during our many stays in the UK. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Some lovely restaurants and family pubs nearby. House had everything we needed and more. The photos online don't do it justice to be honest, it is larger and even more beautiful!

This property was stunning.

The photos do not do it justice enough. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here. The place was comfortable, well equipped and nicely tucked away down a lane. The owners were around if we needed them and were very friendly. Local amenities were a short drive away. The hot tub was well used by us all too. We just wish we were staying there longer. Hopefully we'll be back.

A super place for the four of us.

Spotlessly clean & perfect for our requirements. Nice private decking area & hot tub too. Excellent location for walking, beaches & Dartmoor. Mark was an excellent host. Hope to come back with a bigger walking party next year.

Great base to enjoy the surrounding area and close enough to amenities and pubs/restaurants. Fast WiFi but no signal for calls, as it should be when you are on holiday :) Would definitely return and also recommend.

Old Orchard Barn is absolutely stunning - the photos really don't do it justice and we were amazed at how much space we had. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and local amenities were only a 5-10 minute drive away. A peaceful location, ideal for the dogs with the back garden fully enclosed. A real home away from home - we'd all happily go back!

The property is exactly as described, in fact I would say the pictures don’t do it justice. It was perfectly clean, well equipped, comfortable and completely private which is a very important to us. The owners were friendly and on hand if needed but we didn’t need to contact them during our stay. It’s in a wonderful location and definitely played a big part in a memorable break for us. We already can’t wait to re-book.

Super hot tub, garden completely dog secure, helpful non intrusive hosts. Of course there are some things you would change if it was your own home but that is personal taste rather than inadequacies. We will return

A very nice place to stay.

Great location. The pictures don't really show the sheer size of the old barn. Good secure garden for the dogs. Well equipped throughout. Great hot tub. Good WiFi but very little phone signal ( which isnt a bad thing!) Had a couple of queries that were dealt with very quickly by the owners. Hopefully will be back , would recommend .

Lovely cottage with loads of space for the dog.

Very clean and tidy on arrival with a nice little welcome package. Having a hot tub under the stars was an amazing experience. Plenty of space for parking multiple cars, would definitely go back with all the family.

We had a fantastic stay at Old Orchard Barn cottage.

In truth, it would be hard to find any faults at all. The cottage is beautiful; spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you could need. In fact the pictures don't really do it justice, especially with the size of the property. We had 6 adults and 2 dogs in our party, and we had more than enough room. The hot tub was a nice bonus too! Mark and Leeanne were always very helpful when we saw them. During our stay we visited Looe and Polperro Village (30 minute drive), and Padstow (60 minute drive). For the more active, Adrenalin Quary is only 15 minutes away. All in all we had a wonderful time, and would certainly highly recommend this property.

Recently spent a week at the Old Orchard Barn.

Absolutely stunning property in a beautiful rural location. The interior was well furnished, luxurious and had extremely comfortable beds. The enclosed garden was perfect for our pooch and the hot tub was great for us after long days exploring. Great base to explore both Devon and Cornwall. Would certainly recommend and intend to visit again.

We recently stayed over the bank holiday weekend in August.

8 family members. From walking through the door we were all extremely happy and loved the beautiful space we had. All the extra touches and very comfortable beds. Hot tub to temperature for our arrival and a nice welcome gift of sweet and savoury biscuits. Both Lee-Anne and Mark were very friendly and welcoming and on hand for help when needed. One thing to bare in mind is if you wish to go to a local pub but leave the car at home, ensure you book a day or so in advance as they are very unavailable. Other than that cannot fault the barn, loved every minute we were there. Thanks again and had a wonderful stay

Old Orchard Barn has the WOW!

Factor from the second you drive down the winding country lane to the pebbled drive. Once inside the property you realise that the pictures don’t do this amazing property justice! The property is stunning and everything has been thought out so carefully and the welcome goodies were such a lovely touch. Mark and Leeanne made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them and throughout our booking they have responded quickly to any questions we had and even gave us some recommendations about pubs in the area. We went on holiday as six adults an eighteen month old and our pet dog and we made some amazing memories together. There is plenty to do and the hot tub was an added bonus. We fell in love with Old Orchard Barn and its surroundings. If you’re looking for a stunning, quiet property with amazing views then I can’t recommend Old Orchard Barn enough! Beautiful property, very spacious even with 5 adults, 2 young children and 2 dogs. A great location for touring Cornwall. Owners Mark and Lee-Anne very friendly and welcoming with apple juice and dog chews there for us on arrival plus hot tub on and ready! Will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay at Old Orchard Barn.

As a family, we spanned over 4 generations and all of our needs were met. The owners were very responsive to our communication and addressed any questions promptly and efficiently. The area is interesting and full of things to do ... altogether a fabulous place to stay. Can well recommend.

Clean, modern, quiet and incredibly spacious (6 adults had plenty of room). Even better than the photographs, which I know a lot of people have also mentioned previously! Such a wonderful property and we loved our time here. So many great features- loved the TVs in all bedrooms and the hot tub. Fabulous value. Thank you for such a wonderful stay- we would love to stay again in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to future guests.

Had a lovely stay at Old Orchard Barn - beautiful property with lovely furnishings, very clean and extremely comfortable - everything you could need has been thought of and provided.

The property is dog-friendly with enclosed gardens and a great hot tub ! Close to some lovely small towns - Saltash, Looe and Launceston. Would certainly recommend this holiday property and we would have no hesitation in booking it again.

Loved everything about this place ,location accomodation,facilities proximity to places.

but I have only one suggestion 9:30am checkout time was too early for us ,with two kids it's difficult to come out of hangover and get thme ready by 9 ;)

Absolutely 10 out of 10 for everything, I had never done anything like this before and was very dubious about booking it all myself online and trusting photos but I have got to say that the place was actually better than it appeared if that was possible.

We had a great stay and will definitely be going back next year but for longer….. THANKYOU

This was a really excellent base for touring cornwall.

The barn was beautiful, extremely well equipped , spacious and clean. The owners have really given it homely touches. Great hot tub. Lovely welcome of goodies on arrival. We loved it here and would highly recommend it. We hope to return again

Lovely place to stay we all enjoyed our visit, We would recommend this to everyone it was Very clean well maintained and peaceful My only comment would be larger towels for larger people.

It means that you get the real wow factor when you go inside. Beautiful, bright and sparkling clean. Everything you could possibly want from a holiday home and more. Hot tub was amazing and the Garden perfect for the dogs to do zoomies up and down! Beds were super comfy and the layout meant that we could have some evening child free time while to little ones slept without disturbing them. Would Highly Highly recommend
