What guests are saying
In the end there was just 2 of us staying here so had plenty of space to ourselves.
I clearly hadn’t read all the reviews properly as this house isn’t that suitable for anyone with ooor mobility. Even getting a cuppa from the kitchen proved difficult for my husband so I had to help in every situation. The house is very clean (apart from cigarette butts outside the back door) and it had all that we needed. We did have a problem with turning on the cooker which resulted in us losing power but luckily we found the fuse box. Being on three floors it’s difficult to maintain a good heat on the bottom floor but we didn’t freeze. Parking not ideal but at £15 for the week it wasn’t that bad. Hope future guests are savvy enough to download the app as Wi-Fi terrible in the area
A lovely little cottage with tons of character and very deceiving on size abit like a TARDIS.
The accomodation was very clean, tidy and comfy, well kitted out and the hamper was a lovely touch. It is situated a few minutes from the high street and all the usual amenities. There were seven of us staying plus one dog for our daughters wedding. I would not hesitate in booking again if we were coming on holiday as very for all the sight beachs in Cornwall and North Devon. The beach near Tintagel is gorgeous and excellent for surfing. The black smiths arms at Laverton serve excellent food and good
Excellent location for us.
Used as a one stop for walking the Tamara Way. Plenty of space ( only four adults) , yet still cosy. Really enjoyed the stay at Stone's Throw , would use again Very small critic Could do with a few more cooking utensils. Refuge collection / re-cycling not brilliant but owner can not control council.
