Godolphin Barn

A wonderful converted barn in a very secluded area.

A great stay for a place of peace and escapism. The property is maintained to a high standard, with a spacious garden. A well informed welcome pack included, with guides on how to best enjoy your stay. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be returning. Thank you.

This is the fourth year we have stayed and everything is still as immaculate and as fresh as our first year.

nothing is too much trouble for Annette and Martyn. the location of the cottage is amazing with access to lots of lovely places just a short drive away. Our favourite places are Cadgwith, Praa Sands, Lizard Point, Saint Michael’s Mount, Porthleven also the walk from Penzance to Mousehole is amazing. We have booked again for next year.

The accommodation was very comfortable and well maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Has a lovely little garden with several seating areas for soaking up the sun and is in such a tranquil and peaceful location. In addition the owners were so friendly and helpful and the cream tea on arrival was much appreciated! Finally, as an electric car owner, the on site charger was such a great plus. Only regret is that we had not found this several years a go. Highly recommended.

What a gem .

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Very well equipped with every attention to detail thought of. Beautiful secure garden, and relaxing location. It's easy to understand why people return, time after time.

Annette and Martyn were amazing hosts, the barn was beautiful as well as the surroundings, couldn't have asked for a better get away location for us and our 2 girls Millie and Little Mix .

The barn was clean and well presented, everythig you could want was there, the log burner made it all the more cosy.

The Barn is extremely comfortable and has every thing that you need.

It is an ideal centre for visiting all the areas in the southern tip of Cornwall. The owners are very friendly and helpful if you have any queries.

Godolphin Barn was a real haven for us, the peace was just what we needed.

Annette and Martin have made this a very welcoming property, it had everything we needed and more. It's a good base for visiting the surrounding area. We will definitely be returning.

What a “Hidden Gem “

Absolutely loved our stay, Godolphin is in a lovely quiet position, after a day out walking it's the perfect place to return to to recharge.

The garden is ideal for dogs and their owners to enjoy and they have an enclosed dog play area too. Thank you Annette and Martyn, perfect hosts , nothing is too much trouble, thankyou for the 'goodies' left for us and our dogs. We will definitely return.

Our 3rd time staying in this cottage, absolutely Idyllic and perfect.

Annette and Martyn are the perfect Hosts. It is so clean, we don’t have dogs but cannot tell dogs have ever been. The layout well planned and each year their commitment to making it an haven is obvious. We have booked again for next year.

We had a fantastic stay at the barn - it was extremely comfortable & clean.

Really practical with dogs too. The accommodation and outside areas are very well maintained. Annette & Martyn are incredibly thoughtful hosts. Everything was made very easy for us - instructions to get there, parking, info inside the cottage etc. They’ve really thought of everything including a few handy welcome treats which were much appreciated after a long drive. Fab location lots to see & do nearby and easy to get to other areas. Would highly recommend.

Such a great barn conversion.

Very well equipped with everything you could need and very comfy. Even the dogs settled straight away. A lovely garden for the dogs and for us to sit in. Only 1/2hr to most beaches and the nearest just 15 mins away. We would definitely return again.

A lovely cottage set in a private garden which was brilliant for our dog.

The cottage was exceptionally clean and everything you could possibly need was provided. Although we were not on holiday to watch television - it was a nice touch to have 2 televisions and netflix!! Wi-fi was excellent also.Lovely hosts who were on hand for any queries. a very enjoyable stay.

Annette and Martin were very attentive when needed but left you entirely to your own devices when not. Excellent facilities and fenced in garden so good for the dog. Five minutes drive to nearest pub and quite central for visiting other areas, would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

Annette and Martyn are hosts who think of everything to make you make you feel so welcome. Accomodation is so comfortable and the garden very safe and tranquil. Enjoyed again so much we have booked for a third time next year.

This is THE place to stay if you love dogs and like getting out and about some of the most beautiful places on Britain.

The accomadatiom was the most thought out and lovely place I have stayed. Cleanliness facilities the enclosed garden for my dogs the little extras like poo bags doggy treats and the most amazing cream tea your are totally spoilt with two of the nicest people you will meet I wouldn't hesitate to return it was the perfect venue and location fir everything from a quiet retreat to an active holiday this is something quite special and lovely stress free beautiful quiet but not depends what you want. In my opinion totally the best of the best.

Some of the best hosts that I’ve encountered (and I’ve travelled a lot)!! - very pet friendly, cottage was spotless, can’t fault it.

This is lovely accommodation set in the quiet countryside.

It is extremely comfortable and everything you can think of is provided. There is a quiet sitting out area in the garden where you can relax with a good book and a glass of something. The very friendly owners are on hand, should you need anything. Lots of places to visit in the area.

Fantastic cottage very roomy ,warm and spotless ,Great hosts live next door but very respectful of your privacy.

We manged to complete a further 50 miles of SWCP while staying here which was great .Would recommend KC.s Fish and Chips(10 mins away), The Square Porthleven(15mins away) and Mackerel Sky Newlyn(30 mins away but for us one of best places to eat in Cornwall our 4th visit) if friends are in the area would recommend the cottage as a place to stay.

After a long journey we was welcomed with fresh scones, jam and cream.

Annette and Martyn were at hand if needed but everything was perfect. The property is decorated beautifully and was lovely, warm and cosy and spotlessly clean.

If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet, stunning granite barn, in gorgeous country surroundings but very close to fabulous parts of Cornwall, which offers very clean, superb attention to detail, thought of everything you might need quality amenities then Godolphin Barn is the place for you.

Annette and Martyn are the most welcoming, thoughtful, friendly and kind hosts which nothing is too much trouble for. My first words were wow, wow and wow and the Cornish coffee/tea/sugar, homemade delicious cream tea, complimentary soap, dishwasher tablets, huge array of TV channels, very warm immaculate environment which looked like it had just been decorated was outstanding and perfect in every way. Our hound was super impressed by the homemade biscuits, private and safe garden, the bowl and towels provided! We will most definitely will return as it couldn’t get any better for us! Thank you, we’ve already recommended you! xx

A lovely little bolt-hole with everything that a couple (and their dog) need for a stay in Cornwall.

A Very comfortable n=bed made it hard to get up each day and the wood-burner made it hard to go to bed. A well appointed kitchen with some nice touches and a high tea waiting for us on arrival. Highly recommended.

Lovely, cosy property.

Everything needed and more was provided including dog towels and wood for the log burner. Lots of footpaths around the property and only 10-15 minutes from beaches. Also the enclosed garden for the dog was reassuring.

This was our second visit and we will certainly return again! The property is in a quiet and secluded area near to wonderful beaches, countryside and attractions. Annette and Martin are super hosts and nothing is too much trouble. A gem of a place to stay that we are delighted to have discovered.

We could not have found anything or anyone better.

This property is a little gem and Annette the perfect owner. As ex holiday lodge owners, we found ourselves looking for problem areas but could find none. In fact Annette went out of her way to make our stay perfect, helping out where we had been forgetful !! Very peaceful and quiet yet not too far from anywhere. We cannot recommend this property and owners highly enough.

The cottage was beautifully presented, very comfortable and we would love to revisit another time.
