Boscastle is a small harbour village located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the North Cornwall Coast. Enjoy this fantastic location from one of our lovely Boscastle holiday cottages.

Boscastle is set in a narrow valley that runs down to the rocky coast beyond. Wander along the Elizabethan harbour, lined with white-washed cottages and thatched dwellings. Take in the tranquil atmosphere, only interrupted by the occasional calls of the gulls overhead.

Stop for a break and quench your thirst in a pub, or indulge in some homemade pasties or ice cream in one of the cafes. Discover the fascinating world of witchcraft, magic and folklore past and present in the brilliant Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, located on the harbour. Not too far away from our range of Boscastle cottages is the bustling town of Bude and the magical Tintagel, home to medieval forts and ancient castles.

Boscastle and its surrounding area have inspired writers, poets and artists for years. The renowned novelist Thomas Hardy once stayed in the village and it was where he met his sweetheart Emma Gifford. It was nearby Pentargon Falls inspired his poem "Under the Waterfall".

Walk the South West Coast Path and enjoy some epic views of the surrounding coast - the dogs will love it too! Otherwise, explore the coast from a different perspective, with water sports like surfing or kayaking on offer.

Explore Cornwall from the comfort of our accommodation in Boscastle.
