Falcon House

A last minute booking for a short stay attending family funeral which exceeded all expectations and only wish it was a longer stay and different circumstances.

A very spacious apartment in a perfect location in the centre of Tintagel within walking distance of all services. Spotlessly clean interior, comfortable bed on one level. Fully equipped kitchen, free WiFi and on site parking for one car only.

Paul the host was extremely kind and let us enter the house earlier than expected which we very much appreciated especially after travelling 220 miles to get there.

The house is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable as are the sofas and the shower is quite powerful. We holidayed in the middle of a heatwave with temperatures up to 30° so having fans in the house was very much appreciated. Internet was reasonable powerful and the larger TV made watching the World Cup enjoyable. Although the house is on the main road traffic was reasonably low and was not a problem to us . Tintagel basically closes down after 6.0 and after this time traffic was almost non existent. Being central in the town made for a nice short walk home after leaving the pub. Overall we had a fantastic time and would definitely book again if we holiday in Tintagel again. Ray.

Equipped with everything you could need. Very central in Tintagel.

We had a lovely stay and very impressed with the space on offer.

Great to have a bath mat for the shower and a handbar and would be good to have a handrail by the 2 little steps in the bathroom. Everytjing was spotless and plenty of crockery etc. Fan heaters were available. Would book again.

Extremely well appointed property

Just back from a lovely week at Falcon House.

Properly very central with shops and pubs walking distance. Property very clean and fully equipped, only need to take food. Lovely hosts too.

A fabulous apartment.

Spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable for a family of four (late teen kids). Highly recommend.

An immaculate apartment in the centre of Tintagel.

Parking at the rear no problem. The standard of the interior and cleanliness was 5 star. Large main bedroom, brilliant. Kitchen immaculate. Spacious bathroom and lounge. Next time I am heading down to Cornwall will definitely be booking in again.

The host was easy to locate on arrival day and very helpful.

Location was good for wandering in to town with local shops and places to eat nearby. The kitchen was well equipped, toaster, microwave and airfryer. Useful to have a washing machine too. Plenty of storage for clothes and very comfortable beds with good quality linen. We would be happy to stay again.

We had a great stay at falcon house, it had all of the facilities you would need, the air fryer was a great help.

A short walk to the coast line and all the shops.

Falcon house was ideally situated for easy access to Tintagel and all surrounding areas.

Being all on one level was perfect for my elderly mother and it had all of the facilities that we needed. The dining table chairs were extremely uncomfortable to use but we adapted by using the outside patio chairs instead. The traffic outside was a little noisy at times as it is located on a busy corner junction but it didn’t stop us from having a very enjoyable week.

Falcon House was spotlessly clean, and included everything we needed (and more!

) for our short break. The kitchen was well stocked, with plenty of cooking utensils had we wanted to make dinner there. The local was central, which did mean there were lots of people walking past throughout the day. This didn’t bother us as we were out all day, and in the evenings we didn’t use the courtyard, and left the blinds closed. A great location to explore north Cornwall from!

The Falcon House was a beautiful place to stay while we explored the area for a couple days!

Very conveniently located, we were a short walk away from everything we wanted to visit. We were thankful for the off-road parking (though we had to be a little creative in getting into the space with a larger vehicle). We had a really wonderful experience staying at the Falcon House!

We were so impressed with Falcon House and will definitely be recommending it to family and friends-- we didn't want to leave!

It was bigger than we expected and spotlessly clean- everything looked brand new! No expense has been spared in making it comfortable and the TV and WiFi were excellent, which is so rare in a holiday let! The best thing for us was the location though as it's right in the heart of Tintagel so everything was just a minute's walk, but tucked around a corner so it was really peaceful. To have a parking space right next to it was brilliant too and pretty rare to find in Cornwall. We can't thank the owners enough for their efforts in making Falcon House a great place for a holiday. Top notch!

Falcon House is an ideal base for exploring Tintagel and the wider area.

The owners were friendly and accommodating. We would recommend Falcon House without hesitation.

This is our second stay and we came back due to the proximity to the shops and pubs, my father has limited walking, and this is perfect.

All on one level, warm with all you could ask for. Kitchen is well equipped, beds very comfortable, lounge is roomy. This is a good base to explore and we have enjoyed days at Rock, Padstow, Polzeath, Bude and of course Boscastle and Tintagel itself. Good food near by so you don't have to cook and you have to go to the boscastle farm shop... Book for lunch you should ont be disappointed and their sausages and meat is top quality!

The accommodation was superb.

Very central and perfect for visiting surrounding areas. Owners were very welcoming and the property was spacious and tastefully decorated and furnished to a hi standard , the use of the BBQ was a bonus it was very easy to use .the kitchen was fully equipped a good selection of cleaning materials ( dishwasher tablets etc) was a nice touch in a wonderful stay

We stayed here for a week in July 24.

The place is okay and a little noisy being right next to the main road but good for walking to the pubs shops. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen fitted out well. The lounge is very uncomfortable if you want to sit and read and watch TV. One of us ended up sitting on the floor as the red chairs are very uncomfortable. Bathroom is nice and the shower is very good

Falcon House is a fantastic property it is extremely comfortable, the double bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need.

The bathroom shower was powerful enough.

We already fed back regarding extra hooks in the bathroom for long dressing gowns and a grab rail in the shower to avoid slips.

The apartment was modern and well appointed and in a great position for exploring. The car parking was great and everything there we needed. A small bottle of milk would have been appreciated upon arrival. There was plenty of washing up liquid and soap etc but no salt, cooking oil or tea bags so be prepared and bring your own. Village shops expensive as expected. There is a Lidl and Aldi in Wadebridge to get groceries for the week if required. We are two older ladies so the visit to Tintagel Castle on the first day proved exhausting and really too much for us although enjoyable we suffered for the rest of the week with sciatica and aches and pains ... be warned! Local pubs are good but food very expensive so we cooked in the apartment. There are good facilities including a big Wok like pan that was great. We had a week and still didn't explore all the local little shops or even the Arthurian Centre with was only across the road! There is a lot to do round and about and if you are fit and like to walk you will love it. Ideal base for exploring.

The apartment is perfect for anyone who can't cope with stairs as all on one level, just two steps into the shower.

The property was immaculate, well equiped and very warm and cosy. Their were lots of lovely touches, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and all bio friendly! So if you hadn't brought there were those little things you tend to forget. Kitchen has good range of appliances, washing machine and dishwasher and plenty of glasses. Also handy a range of child plates and bowls. Beds were super comfortable and even though your on the main street you don't get a lot of noise, so relaxing lie ins just kept happening

A great apartment, very clean and spacious.

All you need is provided. Falcon house is situated in an excellent postion close to resturants, shops, costal walking and of course the brilliant Tintagel Castle. A great terrace to the side where we sat, had breakfast and lots of meals including using the gas grill. Prost, Cheers.

Accomodation at Falcon house is excellent, clean and roomy, with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Very friendly owners, shops and restaurants on your doorstep. Scones from Cornish bakery a must. Would not hesitate to book again,

The property is ideally located in Tintagel village with easy access to shops, restaurants and a choice of pubs. Tintagel Castle is within easy walking distance. The kitchen has everything you require for cooking.
