Why a Crantock cottage?

This idyllic sleepy village is full of character cottages, many with thatched roofs that lie on winding country lanes that lead you down to the gorgeous Crantock Beach. The village centre has a beautiful round garden, looked after by the National Trust, two traditional Cornish pubs, a few cafes, gift shops and a convenience store. Recently the village has seen a transformation with new developments consisting of a playing field, basketball court, numerous climbing frames, cricket green and football pitches.

A Crantock holiday cottage is ideally located for a day by the sea. The village is well known for its tranquil family beach, Crantock Bay. The beach lies just to the south of Newquay, and is a minute’s walk from the village. Facing out towards the Atlantic, the sea conditions are ideally suited for surfers and the beach is patrolled by lifeguards during peak season.
