Tre is a delightful apartment set within a barn conversion in the grounds of the Grade II* listed Carines Farmhouse, Cornwall, which was frequently visited by John Wesley.
With off-road parking and close proximity to Cubert Common, Polly Joke, Holywell Beach and Crantock Beach, this is an ideal property for a couple looking to explore the coast and countryside of Cornwall.
The property has its own private terrace and access to the communal lawn space and barbecue area.
Enter into a beautifully finished property with contemporary amenities in abundance, housing a charming open-plan living space.
This room contains a contemporary kitchen with ample amenities and a dining table for two, where you can enjoy a meal with your significant other.
Afterwards, curl up in the stylish sitting area and embark on a movie marathon.
To the rear of the property, you will find a charming sitting area, ideal for alfresco dining, complemented by a glass of your favourite beverage.

We had a fabulous few days staying at Tre with our two little Jack Russell’s.
The garden was completely secure which was one of the reasons we booked this property. The barn was spotless and very comfortable. Great location to discover that part of Cornwall.

We loved our stay at Tre!
It’s a beautiful barn, thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break, even our dog had a welcome basket including some little doggy treats. The only minor issue was that we couldn’t close the bedroom blind because the pole had snapped, but we let the owner know and we’re sure it will be sorted for future guests. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, would definitely recommend Tre to others, and wouldn’t hesitate to book again

Gorgeous barn, beautifully decorated with quality finishes, had everything we needed.
Location is great for exploring that area of Cornwall, lots of great dog friendly places and beaches to visit. Lovely little bakery and chip shop in the village. Bit of a walk to the nearest pub but altogether a fantastic week and we will thoroughly recommend the barn to others, 5 stars from us.

This was a perfect location for a short break.
The accommodation was very well maintained and fully equipped including a ‘puppy pack’ for our doggy chums. The enclosed garden courtyard was excellent. The large comfy bed ensured a comfortable end to days wandering the countryside and nearby exceptional beaches where the dogs had a great time. This was one of the best ‘barn conversions’ we have stayed at and we hope to return one day.

This is our 2nd visit to Carines barns and we think it is by far the best holiday cottages we have stayed in.
Besides being spotlessly clean it is also very comfortable. It is also ideal if you have dogs with plenty of outdoor space. We have already booked for next year.

Can not fault the cottage as everything was very good.
The bed was a little soft for us but that was our preference for a harder matteress. Very minor issue was that we could not find a can opener. Overall it was a great little cottage for a couple with dogs.

The place is lovely got everything you need for the perfect holiday.
Very quite off the beaten trunks but with the directions given with pack it was easy found. Will be booking again for next year.

Beautiful cottage in lovely location - close to 3 great sandy beaches.
We have 2 dogs and there were ideal countryside walks from the cottage. The cottage was very well equipped and clean. The owner lived nearby and was friendly and helpful. I am happy to recommend this cottage and the agent - Sykes.
Absolutely fabulous place, clean, fresh and had everything we needed.
Will be going back next year.

Our stay at Tre was exceptional.
Beautiful property, clean, tidy and very well equipped with everything you might need. The completely safe enclosed rear garden was very important to us with tiny dogs. Lovely basket of extra dog blankets, towels and biscuits. And we really appreciated the Cornish cream tea waiting for us. The property is ideally situated for several towns and wonderful beaches just a couple of miles in each direction. We had a wonderful few days, and the weather was glorious. We have returned home well rested and with some wonderful memories, thank you so much.

The property was ideally situated for our needs over the Christmas build up so that was our main requirement.
The property was very clean and modern. For our taste it would have benefitted with a wall clock in the living area the 'wardrobe' was a little tight to use and the lounge area didn't really need the ottoman in there.
Thank you for your feedback and we are so pleased that Tre Barn was ideal. In hindsight I shouldn't have bought such a large Christmas tree! The ottoman perfectly fits when the tree isn't there. Love that the Barn was clean and modern for you.
A really lovely, comfortable holiday property for our holiday in Cornwall.
Couldn’t have been better. Owner very attentive, phoned in advance to check bed configuration, any needs for the dog and complementary Prosecco. Place has been done up amazingly. Really convenient location, about 10-15 mins drive to Newquay. Thank you for providing a lovely place to relax after days of exploring the Cornwall sights.

We had an amazing few days in Tre barn and were so sad to leave!
It was beautifully decorated and furnished. The high ceilings with wooden beams and the wooden flooring was just beautiful. With lovely little touches and details, such as motion sensor light in the bathroom, plenty of hooks to hang coats etc, prosecco chilling on arrival. The super king bed was the comfiest bed we've ever slept in! The location was perfect - lovely and quiet but close to get into Crantock and Holywell for the beaches but not far to drive into Newquay either. We found the barn super dog friendly and our dog settled in straight away - dog towels provided, biscuits, dog bowl. The astroturf grass and enclosed garden were a huge bonus for us with the dog - and something we find hard to find when looking for holiday cottages!! We couldn't fault Tre at all and will most certainly be back - we are already looking at when to book again!

Fantastic Experience.
No complaints whatsoever. Owner did a lot more than expected to make this a wonderful stay. Beautiful, peaceful location with easy access to beached and amenities. .

An exceptional barn, to which we would love to return to.
However there are a few slight niggles which I need to mention. 1. A large cobweb in the kitchen. 2. A partial dishwasher tablet left in the dishwasher. 3. The plant on the dining table is very obviously dead. 4. The milk sachets in the welcome pack from flint were out of date by almost a month. I realise that these are all minor issues but I feel they needed to be mentioned. Having said that they didn't spoil our holiday and we would book again with sykes.
Thank you for staying with us recently. We are so glad you found Tre “exceptional”. We so love to hear from guests and are always looking to improve. I am so sorry everything was not immaculate. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and the Barns being above and beyond expectations. Flint Management are terribly sorry for missing that the milk was out-of-date and have now put into place a new stock management system to ensure this does not happen again. They have also asked the housekeepers are more vigilant in checking the Barns. Anything less than pristine is not acceptable. We do look forward to you coming down again.
We loved spending the week in Tre.
It’s private, quiet, a relaxing place to stay, and the facilities were of high quality and thoughtfully presented. Couldn’t fault it!
