Why a Fowey Cottage?

Awash with history, there are lots of beautiful historic buildings to admire and heritage attractions to visit on a holiday in Fowey. The town was a major port in the fourteenth century and was more recently used in the export of china clay. Visit the Henrician St Catherine's Castle, explore the harbour or the Fowey Museum, which is located in the town hall and is open throughout the summer, providing a very interesting insight into the town's eventful past.

There is the Fowey Royal Regatta Week and Carnival, the Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature (formerly known as the du Maurier Festival), Fowey Valley Music Festival and Fowey Christmas Market, as well as plenty of other events.
