Out of this world! Modern, clean, spacious - a total joy to live in (I want to stay here and not go back to grotty Bristol). Whoever designed this house is a genius. It was perfect for two children, 9 and 11, two burnt-out parents and two octogenarians who just sat and looked at the view and occasionally spotted grandchildren playing hide and seek in the dunes. Lots of walks which you can adapt for needs of all. Bath and showers needs 6 stars - boiler room looks like something out of science fiction (ground source heat pumps and solar). First UK house I’ve stayed in with plumbing that works! Well done Kareena, we love you!

The property

Kareena, which must be the most talked about house in Crantock.

Kareena is in the most outstanding location, positioned at the end of Green Lane with an amazing view to the dunes, Crantock Beach and the sea beyond.

If watching the sun set from your sofa is your dream, this is the house for you.

Kareena is ideal for large parties such as two families or four couples, as there is enough room to have privacy from each other but you are also able to share a fantastic living area (with the view!) opening onto a slate terrace, where everyone can come together.

Kareena will appeal to those who like to be within a close walking distance from Crantock village’s facilities, as well as being just a short drive from all of Cornwall’s sporting, leisure and other attractions.

Crantock is a small Cornish village, just a short walk from the beach, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.
