Harbour Cottage

I was extremely happy with this accommodation, it was so well equipped and in an ideal location.

On arrival, I was so grateful for not only a cream tea in the fridge, but a very generous amount of food including bread, cheese, milk etc, etc!

Absolutely wonderful place and much bigger than we expected.

Everything was well done and the added sweets, scones, butter, milk, etc was such a nice touch. Location is perfect. Can't recommend enough!

Whole experience of booking via Sykes was a breeze.

Easy to find a good property, easy to book, easy to check details on the app. The cottage itself was to die for. It sells itself as luxury, and does not disappoint. Every aspect of the decor, fixtures, fittings, welcome pack and whole experience was very considered, well maintained and just made our holiday that much more relaxing. The location as well absolutely cannot be beat.

Harbour Cottage is absolutely beautiful.

Very clean , comfortable and welcoming. The view over the harbour is special. We love the little garden with its sunny spots to relax in and the wonderful variety of walks This is why we return year after year . Highly recommend.

This is my favourite cottage I have ever been to.. the cottage itself is spotless with amazing attention to detail and located in the best spot in Bostcastle. You can tell the owners want you to have the best holiday experience. Walks from the doorstep, whether you fancy a bracing cliff top walk on the coast path or a more leisurely walk through gorgeous woodland the choice is yours. My favourite cottage ‘popped up’ on my computer at Christmas as available in January!

I could not miss the opportunity to visit for a 3rd time although not the best month for good weather!! Despite this I have had yet another wonderful few days with my faithful Labrador companion. The cottage is so cosy with all mod cons. We have enjoyed walks at Widemouth Bay and along the river and loved a glass of wine at classic locals, The Cobweb Inn and The Wellington where Rosa has been a ‘hit’. Thank you once again.

Harbour Cottage is truly a wonderful place to stay!

I think this is our fifth time staying and the property never disappoints. The hosts leave the most amazing welcome pack for humans and our four legged friend. It feels like our second home! We just love visiting and can’t wait to return!

Harbour Cottage is the ultimate in Cornish cottages.

Wonderful location, easy parking, full of character, comfortable, warm, and equipped with all the facilities you could ever wish for. Decoration, plumbing and electrics all of a very high standard, everything worked really well. Easy to see why Sykes have already rated it a perfect 10. Thoroughly deserved. A magnificent welcome package too, we wholeheartedly recommend this place. Thank you so much.

This cottage is simply the best place we have been to we came back for a second visit.

It is so relaxing and in close proximity to all manner of places to visit. The cottage is fully equipped to a high standard. All the touches the owners provide are lovely .

Harbour Cottage was one of the best cottages we have stayed in.

Location perfect, parking convenient, and all home comforts you could possibly need. The owners were excellent in communicating and the welcome pack and lots of other small extras, like sweets and chocolates, coffee, lovely attention to detail. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and they had put all the lights on and the Prosecco was chilled and waiting for us. Harbour Cottage was very practically designed and all appliances and bed also excellent. Location was so good the car stayed in the car port the whole week, and we did everything with the dogs either by foot or bus. Excellent cottage to stay in with everything you need.

A loverly welcome pack full of quality items and the whole place is immaculate.Great views of the Harbour and the small garden is a great suntrap. This was our second time of staying and will certainly be returning.

Harbour Cottage is really lovely.

The perfect location in the harbour. The facilities and decor were first class. The garden is a lovely bonus and a sun trap. The parking for two cars is very good although a bit tight if you have a larger car. We thought the welcome pack was very generous and very much appreciated. We have stayed in Boscastle in many holiday lets over the last 25 years and this is by far the best. It is a shame that it only sleeps two. We will definitely be back again.

The welcome back which we received was also excellent and much appreciated. This is a superb base to explore the surrounding area and the the harbour itself is stunning. Would highly recommend this property for anybody wishing to visit the area.

We had a week in Harbour Cottage and didn’t want to leave, Boscastle is beautiful, the cottage is really well laid out, superbly presented and exceptionally clean.

We were left the most amazing, extensive and very generous welcome pack we’ve ever had, as well as fresh flowers. Sadly, the washing machine had failed just before we arrived, but the hosts offered a free laundry service, it appears nothing is too much trouble. Had there been an outside table or bistro set we could have eaten outdoors, but recognise that’s not for everyone. All in all, superb and thank you.

What a lovely property - really beautifully decorated and furnished - stunning We absolutely loved staying here - the location is perfect - in the harbour in Boscastle - in easy reach of the pubs and cafes in the village and with access to all the coastal walks So relaxing with a sun trap of a garden Would not hesitate to recommend and we would definitely come back 2 things - a table to eat at in the garden would be lovely and broadband is a bit flakey (probably not in your control)

We love Harbour cottage .

It’s beautifully presented and very comfortable. This was our second stay to celebrate a special birthday and we had such a lovely time we have booked again for 2026 . The little patio garden is a wonderful sun trap and we were lucky enough to enjoy sitting there soaking up the sun . Also love the special view over the harbour watching dogs playing in the water and children clambering over the rocks. The Cliff walks either side of the cottage are lovely with fantastic views. On a couple of colder nights we lit the log burner lovely and cosy . A perfect and special cottage , thank you .

It was our second time there and we really enjoyed our stay.

We live up in the fells in Lancashire so the views of the harbour plus the sound of the water make a very nice setting. The cottage was clean with good quality furniture and home ware. We enjoyed the generous extras including port and Easter eggs.the two new seats in the garden make for a comfortable space to enjoy the afternoon sun trap. Comprehensive welcome pack provided - much appreciated. One very minor niggle - the outside automatic light by the bin store door wasn't working. Cottage all on one level, but several steps to get to the front door. Would definitely recommend.

An amazing 2nd stay at Harbour Cottage.

If I didn't know better I would think I was the 1st guest ever staying at the cottage, even though it was 18 months since my 1st visit. It was spotless and really looked after. Everything has been so well thought out to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The welcome hamper is 2nd to none and Asha enjoyed her treats. Will definitely be returning. This was our 2nd stay at Harbour Cottage, Boscastle.

We loved the cottage so much last year that we re-booked for this year whilst we were still staying there. The location, facilities and lay out suited us so well. The raindrop shower was lovely and the fluffy white towels. There were chair covers provided and doggie bowl and treats. The Welcome Pack was exceptionally generous and included Prosecco, red wine, dairy products, biscuits and a cream tea. We loved everything about this cottage where everything had been thought of for our enjoyment

We had the most amazing stay at harbour cottage.

Everything was there that was needed. The welcome hamper was fantastic. We were not expecting scones with Jam and clotted cream and Prosecco . It’s the little touches that make the stay perfect for celebrating my fellas 50th birthday. The cottage is nestled perfectly by the harbour with lovely views . We would definitely come back again.

Harbour cottage was beautiful inside and out.

We had all the facilities we needed for a weeks stay. The dressing gowns , and hamper goodies including prosecco were a lovely touch. We loved our stay.

Second visit to this wonderful cottage in the heart of Boscastle harbour.

We knew from experience that this would be a wonderful stay and was nice to see Cornwall and Boscastle at a different time of the year (first visit was Jan 23.) Couldn't wish for a better property to relax in and watch the tide come in and out. Will be returning in 2025 for sure

We have stayed in this cottage for the 3rd time.

never disappointed.its just an amazing cottage and it’s in an amazing area.we love Boscastle.The owners of the cottage are so good and leave a lovely hamper.They leave biscuits for the dog.it spoil us because we compare this cottage with other places we have stayed in and nothing as yet has met there standards. The only thing we don’t like is there are a lot of tics around Boscastle so every time we have walked Bella we have to check her over and brush her.we always find at least one.she does have the flea and tic ointment on.so they will drop off eventually but not nice.it will not keep us away though.Hope to come back next year.

Harbour cottage is the best holiday home we have stayed in.

It is in a great location, right beside the harbour, you can hear the waves lapping and watch boats from the windows. It is very well equipped, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was generous and much appreciated.

Idyllic! Perfect location with wonderful views, quaint yet beautifully appointed with a modern twist, spotlessly clean. Bed superbly comfy! Easy parking for two cars. I cannot say enough about this delightful cottage. The welcome pack was SO good. Thank you! Myself and Rosa (black Lab) have had a magical week exploring the surrounding countryside despite the unpredictable English weather!! Some walks we had to forego as just too slippery and muddy underfoot but we drove to Tintagel and had a great beach run at Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay. Thoroughly enjoyed the daily local walks around Boscastle. We have booked again for next year.

Another fabulous week at Harbour Cottage.

Cottage was looking immaculate, as it did last year, and they have even improved on the the equipment provided. Welcome pack was luxurious as ever. Weather, for the time of year, was good but even when it did rain the views from the cottage across the river and harbour were fabulous. Only downside of week was a trip to Tintagel on Tuesday only to find it was closed....note to ourselves to check opening times when visiting off-season. Will be back.

This cottage is first class and we had a wonderful stay. It is tastefully appointed to the highest standard, very clean and welcoming. Even the room scent on arrival was divine. The cottage is brilliantly located for exploring north Cornwall, both by car and walks from the doorstep, and Boscastle itself is a charming place. We didn't want to leave!

This is by far the most luxurious dog friendly accommodation we’ve ever stayed in, it’s even better in reality than the photos! It’s designed perfectly so that you can ALL relax. We really loved our stay at Harbour Cottage.

The location, in an elevated position right next to the harbour in Boscastle, was perfect with stunning views from every window. The cottage was spacious but very cosy. There was always lots of hot water in the luxurious raindrop shower. The very generous welcome pack was exceptional, including Prosecco, red wine and plenty of local produce. It was lovely listening to the sounds of the incoming tide when we were in the bedroom. We were so impressed that we have booked to stay there again next year.

Amazing cottage overlooking Boscastle Harbour.

Everything you need in a holiday cottage and more, the best welcome hamper ever. We would recommend this cottage and location to family and friends and would return.

Where do we begin, this has to be the most luxurious holiday home we have ever had the opportunity to stay in.

The owners have thought of absolutely everything, it was beautifully modernised inside, the outside is quaint & charming, but just wait till you open the front door. Plenty of space & very comfortable. When we arrived there we were greeted with the most generous hamper, even the dog was spoilt. Every little detail was thought of. If you want to be spoilt this is the place for you. perfect location for cafes, shops & pubs in Boscastle Harbour. You could park up your car & not have to use it if you don’t want to. Although there are beautiful places on your doorstep to explore. We hope to return in the very near future. Stunning.

Boscastle and harbour cottage were both delightful, and we had a superb restful and relaxing break.

The cottage was pristine and the welcome pack very generous. Lots of living space, with comfortable furnishings, a continuous supply hot water, well stocked with crockery, cups and glasses. The Krupps coffee machine was great for an early morning fix of caffeine. The coastal path running past the house was a great boon. Overall a well designed and equipped property, which caters for all needs, and a village which supports.

We live the 'Modern' twist on a traditional Old cottage, the bathroom layout/decor and the Kitchen etc. The welcome pack hamper was very much appreciated and the added extras have been a pleasant surprise and a nice touch. We have loved exploring the area and visited some lovely beaches and garden centres/farm shops. Already booked for 2024!

! What can I say that hasn’t already been said on previous comments. A truly perfect property. The cottage was so spotlessly clean I could have been the first guest ever staying there. Everything had been so well thought out the owners had thought of everything but it was the small touches that made it extra special - the treats left for my dog, the amazing welcome hamper and the lovely personalised written card from the owners welcoming me to the cottage. From getting up in the morning to that view and the fantastic shower to falling into the super comfy bed at night and listening to the tide coming in and out the days were just perfection. The joint star of the show has to be Bostcastle and its harbour such a special place and with walks literally straight from the gate the location could not be more amazing. The hardest part of the day was deciding on what walk to do - a bracing coastal cliff walk to a waterfall with breathtaking views or a relaxing walk through gorgeous woods. Thank you for sharing this little bit of heaven, the owners should be so so proud and I will be returning…x

The owners have thought of everything to make guests welcome, to include a very generous welcome hamper. The location was perfect for coastal walks. We don’t usually revisit cottages as like to explore new places….I think this will be the exception to the rule!!

It's a beautiful cottage, amazing location and all mod cons.

We've been before and it was just as glorious second time. The owners are very generous with their welcome basket and we really liked the Christmas tree. Plus there were plenty of logs as we were there for a couple of days during the cold snap. Fabulous few days. Thank you.

Amazing says it all!

The cottage was lovely and the extra touches were appreciated - the welcome hamper, the chocolates, the wood for the fire etc.

The location is perfect - it was extremely blustery when we were there, but we felt comfortable and enjoyed the views. Boscastle is a real hidden gem and we just loved the village shops and the atmosphere of the place. We have already booked for same time next year. The dryer was broken during our time there which was a shame as it was very wet outside, but all in all the facilities were top class.

The cottage was simply incredible, and quite possibly the very best that we have stayed at. It was in immaculate condition, in a superb location, and just a short walk to the heart of the community. With coastal walks quite literally on your doorstep, an open fire, high quality fixtures and fittings, and gorgeous views it really is difficult to fault Harbour Cottage. Superb in every respect.

Harbour Cottage really had everything we could have hoped for, a beautiful view, it's extremely well furnished, is in the perfect location for exploring the Cornish Coastline, has an allocated parking space and the welcome pack we received was very generous and much appreciated. To top our stay off we got engaged at Rocky Valley on the coastal walk to Tintagel! Highly recommend!

Wonderful place!

I spent 2 weeks here and could not have imagined a better place to be. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and is very comfortable with all the amenities that could be needed. The location is perfect as it overlooks the river and the harbour. Also perfect for anyone with a dog! Very generous welcome pack was a wonderful bonus.

Excellent cottage, very clean, well equipped and comfy beds.

It is in a great location with views of the harbour. A short walk takes you to a great spot to watch the sunset. The garden gate opens onto the coastal path for walks along coast with stunning scenery. The welcome pack was much appreciated.

This was our second stay at Harbour cottage, having stayed in June.

As ever the cottage was fantastic, the arrival hamper was more than excellent. We felt the lounge was difficult to keep warm during the evenings, especially during a very stormy week. Storm Barra hit whilst we were staying! We would love to book this cottage again but when looking to book in June I was mortified to see the price for a one bedroomed cottage (albeit beautiful).

This is a real gem - so stylishly renovated, everything you could need and more.

Perfect location, perfect property. We were only able to stay for 4 nights, but it was all well appointed and presented that we feel like we've had a good week's vacation. The goodies left for us on arrival were a particularly lovely touch - and extremely useful. So very many thanks to the owners who deserve more than the 5 stars we're allowed to give them.

This was our second visit to the property and yet again we had an amazing experience.

The property is so well maintained and the hosts are very generous with the offerings provided. We have already booked for next year as we love the property and the position.

The cottage is fitted out to a very high standard and very comfortable. Good local facilities such as shops, tea rooms, restaurant and pub as well as excellent coastal walking

Harbour Cottage is beautiful and in a fantastic location.

The doorstep is literally on the Coast Path. The interior design and attention to detail is amazing. The welcome hamper provided by the owners is very thoughtful and much appreciated after a long journey… especially the Prosecco!

Harbour Cottage gave us a warm welcome in the lovely harbour Boscastle village.

The cottage was lovely and cosy during our stay, which helped enormously during awful cold weather that gave us heavy rain and gale force winds for some of the time. The landlords had left a very generous food parcel for our arrival, into this very well presented and clean holiday home. Highly recommended.

The cottage is perfect for our one-week holiday, it has everything you need for a self-catering accommodation with the most stunning views from every room. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay with our dog and would definitely recommend to everyone.

The Cottage is in a lovely location in the harbour, is perfect for walks and is a very well appointed modern holiday home whilst still retaining the character of the beautiful stone cottage.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and the welcome gift a very nice touch also the location was spot on .
