“Pol View was a superb location for us to explore Cornwall.”

It comfortably accommodated our two families, the rooms were spacious, modern and clean. We enjoyed several meals prepared in the well equipped kitchen. The kids loved the space, playing in the garden and watching the daily milking of the cows. The local national trust beach was great to have on the door step too. Tom and Lauren were fab hosts and gave us a warm welcome. We would definitely recommend Pol View to anyone wanting to holiday in the area.

“A fantastic house with stunning views, in an excellent location.”

Beautifully furnished. Children loved seeing the cows on the farm and had plenty of space to run around and play outside. Owner could not be more helpful. Everything needed for a family holdiay, including a much needed washing machine. There was even a welcoming Cornish cream tea!

“Pol View was perfect for our 4 generation family holiday.”

The rooms configuration worked well, everything was spotless on arrival and the property is very well equipped. The sea view in the distance was a bonus, the weather amazing and we were treated to some great sunsets. Lauren was very responsive to any questions we had and left us some lovely goodies which were a real treat. Despite being a working farm we felt safe letting two of the children (ages 6 & 5) wander down to the garden area and they loved having a sense of freedom. Pol View was a very peaceful place to stay, great beaches nearby (we loved Church Cove), a fab local pub just down the lane, yet not too far off the beaten track so a great location. Thanks so much for having us.

“We had an amazing holiday staying at Pol View.”

Great for three generations staying together with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a large parking area. The facilities and cleanliness were outstanding and it was the best equipped holiday let that I have ever stayed in. Lauren and Tom were very friendly hosts with great communication throughout. They also provided a lovely welcome pack and many extras. Fantastic location near to various beaches and coastal walks with sea views. We also visited a number of National Trust gardens and Pendennis Castle (English Heritage), all within 30/40 minute drive. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Pol View. You will not be disappointed.

“Pol View is an absolutely beautiful converted barn.”

Completed to a very high standard, we had everything we needed for a lovely stay. The property is located on a working dairy farm and one of our highlights was going to see the milking take place. The owner/ farmer was very friendly and took us to see the calfs too. Overall, a lovely barn conversion in a lovely part of Cornwall. The nearest beaches (Church and Dollar) are brilliant as well as the near by pub (Halzephron Inn). Thank you for a lovely stay.

“A lovely property in great surroundings.”

Well maintained, clean and homely. The hosts are on hand should you have any questions and were such lovely people, nothing was too much trouble, they really looked after us. “We enjoyed a lovely second visit to Pol View.”

It’s spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with the attraction of being situated almost on the coast path. Turn right for a drink in the Halzephron Inn or a walk on the beach at Fishing Cove, turn left for a beautiful cliff top walk to Church Cove where you can visit the Church of St Winwaloe. Lauren and Tom are the best of hosts, welcoming and helpful and last but not least we adored spending time with Luna, the farm cat. We would love to visit Pol View again. The Paul Family

You couldn’t wish for anything more. The owners communication both before and during our stay was impeccable and thoughtful. Pol View had everything you needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay with beautiful sea views across to Dollar and Gunwalloe Church Coves which you can easily walk to along the coast path - which is a stunning walk. Being on a working farm also added something special to the holiday. Thank you for a fabulous holiday and we can’t wait to return.

“We had a very lovely stay at Pol View.”

The house was furnished and equipped to a very high standard, it was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect. The owners were great hosts and provided an air conditioning unit and a big fan to help with the heatwave and they were on hand to provide anything we needed and left some welcome goodies for us on arrival. We would love to return!

“Perfect! This property has been lovingly renovated by the owners, who lived in for a short while before it was listed as a holiday rental.”

The property is well appointed & very cosy, with everything a family could need for a holiday. Externally, there are picnic tables (with a BBQ stored in the utility room) and use of a shared garden (with the family) that has seating and a set of swings. The barn is situated down a farm track, so is far from the road and any noise - I've never been anywhere so peaceful! We got to watch the cows being milked and the calves being fed. We met the whole family, from Grandad right down to the new addition of the family, who will be the 5th generation of farmer in the family! Along with the 2 very friendly farm cats, we felt very welcomed. I would highly recommend this property for your break. We were a family of 8 adults and a 9 year old child, who couldn't have wished for more. 10/10.

Plenty of parking. Had some thoughtful treats left for us on arrival. Great location. Beautiful view across the fields to Mullion and Cury. Peaceful. Went to watch the cows being milked. Tom and his dad were very informative. Really recommend. Couldn’t fault anything. We all had the most amazing stay.

We stayed in Gunwalloe before but this was definitely an upgrade. The owners kindly provided welcome treats and flowers upon our arrival. The house is a converted barn and the owners have done a fantastic job renovating it. The house has everything you need for a perfect Cornish stay

“The accommodation was brilliant.”

There were 5 adults and 3 children in the house. We were never on top of each other. Having the living space upstairs gave us the best views and the children enjoyed cow watching. All in all a very relaxing space to be in. The owners were very friendly. The second biggest bedroom could have done with a mirror and maybe more than 1 tea towel to hand, apart from these two things, the holiday was a success.

The property has plenty of room and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The highlight of our 4 year old grandsons week, was seeing the cows being milked and the calves fed. Would definitely recommend.

Helston lies at the western gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, a large area of downland fringed by a beautiful and spectacular coastline. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for it's Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Nestled in a tranquil setting is the National Seal Sanctuary on the Helford River, where there is plenty of entertainment watching seals play and feed. If it is thrill rides that excites you, then Flambards theme park will keep you amused all day and also has excellent living history experiences. Further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west. Helston is a wonderful holiday destination offering plenty of attractions for the whole family.
